Characteristics of Good Test:


Content Validity: Table of Specifications

Objectives:
1. To construct a Table of Specifications based on identified set of learning objectives.
2. T demonstrate the process of balancing the number of test items with the weight assigned to each content area and cognitive domain.

Instructions:
1. Choose a topic in your field of specialization and identify five (5) learning competencies. Refer to the K to 12 Curriculum Guide and the Budget of Work
(Lesson) for guidance. These materials are available for download.
2. Match the number of recitation periods to the number of days allocated per learning competency as indicated in the Budget of Work.
3. Construct a Table of Specifications (TOS) for a 30-item test using the template provided below.
4. Note that this TOS will serve as the basis for the activity that involves test item construction based on the TOS.
