PERENITY 5K
Film scanner PERENITY 5K
Designed especially to treat the archive materials. The PERENITY perfectly combines the rendering
quality, speed of execution and preservation of materials not to mention the ease of use.

The best solution in the archive world

Dedicated for archive materials
PERENITY scan any type of 8 to 35mm film. 6 exchangeable film gates: 8/S8 – 9.5mm – 16/S16mm – 17.5mm – 28mm – 35/S35 mm.
With a continuous motion capstan drive system, tension regulation is variable and smooth, with two tension arms electronically controlled by
a potentiometer to protect your film. It can handle with any type of damaged films and it can perfectly operate with a large amount of missing
or damaged perforations.

Ballistic Following Scanning (BFS®) vs standard flash capture

Unique Ballistic Following Scanning (BFS ®) system developed by CTM.
PERENITY ensures a high technology and performance capture by oscillating mirror, tracking each
frame to capture it, fixed on the sensor.
The mirror system is giving back all the intensity of your film. It increases exposure time compared
to flash scanners. A longer time of exposure during the scanning gives a better ratio signal / noise.

Laser Detection
Perforations are detected by laser. It permits an accurate positioning of the picture. Combined
with KOLIBRI software, the Laser detection ensures excellent results even with your damaged
films.
No sprocket for detection: non-aggressive solution for your film.
With laser detection, PERENITY can handle with any type of shrinkage (up to 5%).

Color Correction station KOLIBRI® 4.0

Fast and easy operation KOLIBRI is the dedicated workstation for PERENITY, simple and easy to use. It gives you intuitively access to primary and secondary color
correction, automatic motorized zoom and focus. KOLIBRI ensures PERENITY control and file and/or video output.
PERENITY simultaneously generates DPX and H264.
Equipped with its trackball panel support option for deported color command, it becomes a color grading station: faster and more efficient.
