Worksheet: Practicing "Have Got"

Part 1: Affirmative Forms

Explanation: We use "have got" to talk about things we have. Here are the full and
contracted forms.

Full Form Contracted Form


I have got a bike. I’ve got a bike.
You have got a ball. You’ve got a ball.
He has got a cat. He’s got a cat.
She has got a book. She’s got a book.
It has got long ears. It’s got long ears.
We have got a dog. We’ve got a dog.
They have got toys. They’ve got toys.

She has not got a hat. She hasn’t got a hat.
