Prepare a mark sheet with five subjects for five students in MS


Excel File using Formulas, Functions and charts.

AIM:
To prepare Mark sheet for students using formulas, functions and
charts using Excel.
PROCEDURE:
1. Open Excel sheet.
First go to file menu and choose new sub menu and select work
sheet option and click ok.
2. Type five students name and five marks for each student.
Create the fields, M1,M2,M3,M4,M5 and enter mark on it.

3. Select the cells and apply formula to calculate sum.


To find the total, Enter the Formula = sum (ex: C3:H3) this will
give the total at the marks.
4. To attain the Results type the formula.
In the result column type the formula as =if(G2>250,”Pass”,”Fail”)
then result of the student will be displayed.

5. Creating a Chart for our table


Select the table entirely. Then Go to insert menu and choose Chart
icon and your chart will be created and display accordingly.
RESULT:
Thus the using formula, functions and chart in Excel has completed
successfully.
