How did I choose my topic and how does it relate to the annual theme?
I chose the topic of rights and responsibilities in artificial intelligence because
the rapid expansion of this technology raises important ethical questions
about who is responsible for its actions. I related this to the annual theme of
human rights and duties in an increasingly automated world, where AI plays
a major role in decision-making.

How I conducted my research?

This chapter was one of the primary sources I used to understand the ethical
foundations behind AI. I conducted my research by searching for reliable
academic sources that explore the ethical dilemmas arising from designing
autonomous systems capable of making decisions that affect humans.

How I created my project?

This text helped develop the ethical foundation of my project, where I
examine the implications of assigning responsibility to AI developers and the
rights of users. I created a section dedicated to discussing the moral and legal
obligations of programmers and corporations that create AI.

What is your historical argument?

My historical argument is that as artificial intelligence advances, so do
dilemmas around rights and responsibilities, and society finds itself on a new
legal frontier, similar to what occurred during the Industrial Revolution.
Now, we must redefine responsibility when decisions are no longer made by
humans but by machines.

In what ways is my topic significant in history?

This topic is significant because rights and responsibilities in AI will mark a
new stage in the history of technology and law. The development of
autonomous AI raises critical questions about responsibility for machine
actions and its impact on human rights.
