Send Subject: Instructions for importing and exporting files to Excel

Hi Ethan,

Thanks for your request for help. Here are some detailed instructions for you to complete your task.
Here's how to import a text file into Excel by connecting to it:

Open Excel and Select the cell where you'd like the data to appear.
Navigate to the "Data" tab. Under "Get Data" click on the "From file”, and click “Text File" button.
Excel opens the Import Data dialogue box. Find the text file you plan to import and click the "Import"
button.
Click through the Text Import Wizard and follow its instructions.
The Import Data dialogue box might ask you to where to put the data. To input it into your worksheet,
click "Existing worksheet" and to add it to the first cell in a new worksheet, click "New worksheet".
Open "Properties" to format your data to your preferences.
Press "Ok".

Now you can edit your data, save it as a workbook or other file format of your choosing. Once you have
saved your new document and are ready to upload and send back to email sender your next step is as
follows;

Click File > Share, and then choose one of the following options:

Upload to OneDrive: Uploads your file to your OneDrive account where you can then share through a
direct link or an email message.
Attach a copy instead: Choose to attach the file to an email.
Enter the recipients’ aliases, edit the subject line and message body as necessary, and then click Send.

I hope you found this helpful Ethan and please let me know if I can help with anything else.

Thank you,

Sarah Clare Pasfield
