Here, we have decided to compare servicescape of 2 restaurants namely Western Hut and Pizza Hut. The Comparison:

a. Facility exterior: y Pizza Hut: -Exterior design: The exterior design is simple and it is located inside central mall. -Signage: A board is placed outside the multiplex to declare the presence of pizza hut. -Parking: No parking is provided for central mall pizza hut. -Surrounding environment: A bit chaotic--food bazaar and planet sports are located side by side. y Western Huts: -Exterior design: Located on shankerapally road decorated with colored lights. -Signage: Big signboard co-branded with Coca-cola. -Parking: Parking space is available for few vehicles. -Surrounding environment: It is located on route with few other dhabas in surrounding, comparatively peaceful.

b. Facility interior: y Pizza Hut: -Interior design: Italian interiors, decorated with abstract painting, chandeliers to fit the light mood. -Layout: Standardized layout all over India. -Temperature: Air-conditioned, ambient temperature is maintained round the year. -Music: Peppy lively music. -Noise level: Noisy inside and outside as well. -Furnishing: Good trendy furniture comfortable. -Lighting: Bright lighting. y Western Huts: -Interior design: Some open huts are made, surrounded by fern plants leaves. -Layout: The layout consists of a setting which gives a garden type look. -Temperature: Since, it is open air; the temperature is according to actual weather. -Music: No music. -Noise level: Quiet. -Furnishing: Molded furniture. -Lighting: Dim lighting.

c. Other Tangibles: y Pizza Hut: -Bills: Bill attached with a thank you note. -Employee dress: Normal black/red color with logo. -Menu: A menu with pictures and a slight description about the ingredients. -Website: Interactive website. y Western Huts: -Bills: No printed bill. -Employee dress: No specific dress.. -Menu: Simple printed menu. -Website: No website.

Conclusion: From the above comparison and knowing the type of restaurant Pizza Hut and Western huts are, we see that Pizza Hut servicescape is more aligned towards attracting people who are young, want to party, have something good quickly and hang out with friends. When you see Western Huts servicescape, it is more aligned towards people who want to take a halt on their way and nearby college students, who just want to spend some time and have quality food in near proximity.
