SYLLABUS
QUARTER 1
Week 1 SETS Illustrates well-defined sets, subsets (proper and improper), universal sets,
disjoint sets, null set, cardinality of sets, union and intersection of sets,
compliment of a set, the Cartesian products of two sets, and the different of
two sets
Week 2 VENN Interprets and constructs Venn diagram, solves problems involving sets with
DIAGRAM the use of Venn Diagram.
Week 3 REAL *Illustrates and explains real number system, and represents the absolute
NUMBER value of a number on a number line as the distance of a number from 0.
SYSTEM *Performs fundamental operations on integers.

Week 3 PARALLEL derives relationships among angles formed by parallel lines cut by a
