V. PROJECT RATIONALE:

The goal of this project is to increase environmental awareness and encourage responsible
behaviour in comfort rooms, so that we can have a cleaner and healthier restrooms. We
believe that by adding some protocols in restrooms other students will change their
behaviours, because other students don’t know how to use comfort rooms properly like
they wasting water and throwing away stuff wrong. They don’t know they can have a big
impact on the environment.

VI. BACKGROUND:

Many SHS Students face challenges because of lack of water, lots of waste, and bad
smelly. So we add some protocols like “Please be mindful of your water usage. Every drop
counts!”, “Let’s keep our comfort rooms fresh and clean for everyone” and “Don’t leave
trash behind! Throw Garbage in the proper bin.”. The project aims to use comfort rooms as
a starting point to inspire people to think about their environment and become more
responsible students of environment.

XI. APPENDIX:

Dear Principal,

This letter is to express our strong support for the improvement of our school’s comfort
rooms. As students, we believe that having cleaner, brighter, and more comfortable
restrooms will not only improve our hygiene and well-being but also create a more
positive and conducive learning environment.

Many of our school’s comfort rooms are poorly lit, lack proper ventilation, and are often
in need of cleaning. This makes it uncomfortable and unpleasant to use them,
especially during breaks or after physical activities. We believe that investing in better
lighting, ventilation, and regular cleaning would significantly enhance the overall
comfort and hygiene of our school’s restrooms.
We appreciate your consideration of our request and we are excited about the
possibility of working together to make a positive impact. If you have any questions or
would like to discuss this further, please don’t hesitate to call us at 0948671352

Sincerely,

Gone, Marife
