LEARNING OBJECTIVES

M At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to read and complete the texts with the correct form
of verb be correctly.

C At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to ask and respond to each other’s questions about
the texts correctly.
1. Teacher write is, are, was and were on the board.
2. Explain to pupils that is and are are used in the simple present tense and was

3. Give them a few examples if necessary.
1. Teacher pre-teach key vocabulary for the texts about homework.
2. Give half of the class the past text (A1) and half of the class the present text
(B1).
3. Teacher ask pupils to tell which one they have, to check they know whether

4. Teacher give pupils the gapped texts (A2, B2, so that pupils have A1 and B1
