B. Course Objectives and Learning Outcomes


1. Course Description
This course aims to equip the students with basic and advanced skills to operate and make use
of a personal computer (PC) in a variety of settings. The course teaches students how to setup
and communicate properly using Tabuk University emails system. The course also teaches
students how to use MS Word, Excel, and Power Point, and gain the needed skills for
Microsoft offices packages.
2. Course Main Objective
In this course students will increase their knowledge about Information Technology and gain
broad computer skills. Student as well will learn how to communicate properly and
professional using Tabuk University email system. Students will learn how to work with
windows operating system and how to handle file and folder operations, in addition they will
gain familiarity and the skills needed for different applications such as word processing,
presentation, and spreadsheet that will make them ready for using these Microsoft packages in
future terms such as in their studies or in their work .
