Programme Objectives (PO):


PO1: Graduate will demonstrate the knowledge of Computer Science and its applications.

Programme Specific Objectives (PSO):


At the end of the program the student would be able to:
PSO1: Understand the basic computer fundamentals, objected oriented concepts, databases,
microprocessor and assembly languages, web applications, techniques of computer networking and
hardware related applications.
PSO2: Apply the knowledge of mathematics and computing in the real-world applications.
PSO3: Gain the expertise necessary to strategize, create, test, and execute IT solutions for practical, real-
world challenges.
Introduction:
The "History of Gujarat" syllabus is designed to take you on an enlightening journey through the
historical evolution of one of India's most vibrant and culturally diverse regions. Gujarat, with its ancient
civilization, maritime trade routes, dynastic empires, and cultural heritage, has a history that spans
millennia. This course will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of Gujarat's history, from
its earliest origins to the contemporary era.

 Course Objectives:
1. To learn about the various cultures and lifestyles of people in Gujarat.
2. To acquire the knowledge about Gujarat’s scenic landscapes and natural wealth.
3. To understand the life & contributions of various important personalities and gain moral/ethical
values from their inspiring stories.
4. To get acquainted with the rich traditional cultures of Gujarat

 Course Duration:
The course will have sessions which are divided into five modules. Each module consists of four
sessions of 60 minutes each and carries a weightage of 20%.

Instructional Method:
1) The method of course delivery will be adaptable, determined by the content prerequisites and the
students' individual requirements. Our educators will employ a blend of conventional teaching via
blackboard and various other tools, conduct mock interviews to help students practice interview
skills, invite guest speakers to share their experiences and provide insights on interview and
presentation skills, and analyze and discuss videos of effective interviews and presentations.
2) The internal evaluation will be done on the basis of continuous evaluation of students in the class-
room and assigned presentation tasks to help students develop presentation skills.
3) Students will have access to additional learning resources, which may include online videos,
NPTEL video lectures, e-courses, and journals.
