ESAB is Hiring Principal/Lead/Senior Backend Software Engineers


Are you a rockstar backend developer passionate about building clean and scalable
systems?
ESAB is searching for a talented Principal/Lead/Senior Backend Software Engineers to join
their growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the entire backend development
lifecycle, from design to implementation on backend development aspects. You'll also play
a key role in smooth development of backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and designers to understand requirements and


translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and define the backend architecture for new features and projects.
• Develop, design, maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend applications using
Golang.
• Implement a microservices architecture for modularity and maintainability.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on integrating backend services with frontend
applications (experience with VueJS a plus).
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for your code.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in Golang and backend
development.
• Implement and maintain secure coding practices.
• Automate tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics & Communication


Engineering, or Computer Science Engineering with a postgraduate degree in
Computer Science Engineering (preferred).
• 5-15+ years of experience in backend programming using Golang, Python, or similar
languages.
• Excellent knowledge of backend frameworks like Express.js (Golang) and Django
(Python).
• Strong proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration.

• Experience with databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Strong API design and development skills for seamless communication within
applications.
• Experience with server-side handling, data structures & algorithms, and a basic
understanding of frontend technologies (VueJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and a commitment to
continuous learning.
