Department of UltraSound

U/S OF WHOLE ABDOMEN.(M)

LIVER : Liver is normal in size (14 cm) and normal echotexture with smooth outline.
Intrahepatic biliary radicles are not dilated and confluence is patent. No focal lesion seen.
HVs are normal. Portal vein is normal in caliber (12 mm) with patent splenoportal axis.
GB : GB is distended with normal wall. No any pericholecystic lucency/collection seen.
No intraluminal calculi seen. The interface between liver and GB is normal.
CBD : CBD is normal in course and caliber (4 mm). No intraluminal calculi seen.
PANCREAS : Pancreas is normal in bulk, outline and echotexture. No any focal lesion seen.
MPD is normal. No peripancreatic collection seen.
RETROPERITONEUM : IVC and aorta are normal. No any retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy
or focal lesion seen.
KIDNEYS : B/L kidneys are normal in size (RK= 106 mm; LK= 95 mm) and outline.
Cortical echotexture is normal with maintained CM differentiation bilaterally.
B/L pelvicaliceal systems are compact. An approx. 3.2 mm size calculus is seen
in lower calyx of left kidney. No focal lesion seen bilaterally.
B/L upper ureters are not dilated.
SPLEEN : Spleen is normal in size (90 mm) and echotexture with smooth outline.
No focal lesion seen. Splenic vein measures 5 mm at splenic hilum.
URINARY BLADDER : Urinary bladder is distended with normal bladder wall.
No any calculi or focal lesion seen.
PROSTATE : Prostate measures 34 x 19 x 29 mm in size and 10 cc in volume with
normal echotexture and smooth outline. Capsule is intact. No focal lesion seen.
Seminal vesicles are normal.
Miscellaneous : Bowel loops did not show any definite bowel wall thickening.
No mesenteric lymphadenopathy seen. No free fluid seen in the abdominal cavity.

IMPRESSION :- LEFT RENAL CALCULUS.
