A.5. Activity Rationale

Establishing an inclusive and compassionate school atmosphere is contingent


upon the implementation of the Special Needs Education Program. It guarantees
that learners with exceptional needs are not marginalized, but rather are provided
with the resources, encouragement, and chances to succeed. Additionally, by
encouraging variety, comprehension, and respect for one another among learners,
teachers, and families, the curriculum helps the school community as a whole to
grow.

In addition to preparing them for a better future, this one-day program will give
learners with special needs the chance to thrive intellectually, socially, and
emotionally. By ensuring that every kid has the opportunity to realize their full
potential, it is an investment in the growth of every learner.

A.6. Objectives:

At the end of the session the participants will be able to;


 To promote awareness of special needs education and foster inclusion in
classrooms.
 To equip teachers with effective strategies for supporting students with special
needs.
 To provide participants with the necessary resources to support the learning
and development of students with special needs through adaptive materials
and inclusive activities.

A.7. Expected Output:

Participants will acquire techniques for adapting and utilizing assistive


technology, adaptive learning tools, and other classroom materials. They will also
learn effective strategies for managing behavior and creating a supportive, inclusive
learning environment for learners with special needs.

A.8. Methodology

To promote a well-rounded approach to Special Needs Education, addressing


both the academic and emotional needs of learners while nurturing a fully inclusive
and supportive learning environment.
