Hello everybody,

I’m goint to present you my work experience during my formation at Builders engineering school.

First, I will speak about my background. Then I will present my company. Finally, I will explain you the
characteristics of the site that I work on and what are my tasks.

After my baccalaureat, I study civil engineering at La Rochelle. During this formation, I learn a lot of
vocabulary, and the methods of construction. I also did two internships in two different company.
The first was as a worker in a public works company, I discovered the job of site manager, and how to
manage workers in different sites. It was interesting to apply the methods that I learn before. The
second one was in a price research office at Rouen during 2 months. Overthere I planned and
budgeted different site like a methanation unit or a datacenter.

I also worked in a public work company during 2 summer.

So, now let’s talk about my current company Eiffage Génie Civil. It is the same as my second
internship, but it was at the agency of Nantes. This company had a turnover of 13 billions of euros in
2021. She employs more than 10 000 employees in all the world. She realize different types of
projects like bridges, underground, nuclear plant. This company became famous after the realisation
of the Viaduc of Millau.

As soon as I arrived I was assigned to the site of the stage deep-water of Cesson. It is located in the
suburb of Rennes. The site begun in Mai 2022 and I arrived in October 2022. The objectives of the
projects are to renovate of the old stadium, add a new 110 m arm, reconstruct the pump station;
And the main objective is to hosting national and international competitions, in prevision of the
Olympics Games of Paris.

The cost of the project is 4,1 Millions of euros. It represents 1 000 cubic meters of concrete.

My tasks on this project are to prepare the schedule for the next week, to survey the quantity of
materials, and to create some 3D views. I am also in contact with the actor of the project, like the
project manager or the co-workers.

To conclude for two years I have learned a lot of things, and I want to continue to work in this
company, because there is various projects in this one and I want to discover others site. But before
that, I hope to have my engineering degree.

I think that I really want to work on project abroad and to meet a lot of people in this sector of
activity.
