Web Hosting: The service that allows individuals and organizations to make their
websites accessible on the internet.
Server: A computer or system that stores website files and delivers them to users
upon request.
Domain Name: Domain name is the name of your website through which people
can find you online. You can register your desired domain name and your website
will be known by that domain name.
DNS: DNS stands for Domain Name Server. This process translates the internet
domain names and host names to IP address. DNS is equivalent to the internet’s
phone book. The DNS maintains a database of domain names and translates them
into Internet Protocol (IP) address. The DNS process is necessary because it is easy
for people to remember the domain names but the computers and machines
remember the domain names as IP addresses.
IP Address: A unique numerical label assigned to each device connected to a
network, used to identify and locate devices on the internet.
