Weather
Sofia's southern European location means milder winter and scorching summer, so
if you like moderate temperatures you have it here; spring and autumn are the best
seasons to visit. In the summer, the temperatures regularly break 30 degrees, so
tank tops and shorts are must-haves, though an umbrella can always come in handy
as well. Despite its location, winters can still be chilly, with snowfalls being regular
between November and March or so. It's always best to check the forecast

12
regularly before your trip, for you to know what to expect - and then pack an extra
jacket or raincoat just in case!
