Introduction
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has always been publicly-known to be in
existence but has only recently been globally-known by students,
teachers, influencers etc. They have used AI in abundance and New
Hope High School is no exception. The purpose of this SBA is to
determine if the presence of AI is infact beneficial or non beneficial
in education specifically. Although it is a debatable topic, with most
teachers stating that students have lost the essence of imagination,
while others may argue that it makes work load less stressful and
helps with brainstorming ideas. As a mean to terminate the
uncertainty a team of students has arranged to give out surveys in
order to get an insight on what the students of New Hope High
School think about the usage of AI. The surveys will assist in
deducing an accurate data of what the true opinions on AI are. The
results will help to bring clarity to the individuals who are unsure
about the role AI plays in the educational setting.
Method of Data Collection
With the intent to compile the information required to execute the
purpose of the SBA the team of students selected the method of a
survey. In total 41 students received a survey, consisting of 3 form
levels, we asked 14 students from 2nd and 3rd form, while only 13
students were asked from 1st form. Each pupil answered a survey
with 7 questions in total. The end material was then collected,
organized, tallied out and displayed.

Data Analysis
The survey determined that 26.8% of students never use Ai for
studying, 14.6% always do, the other 58.5% vary with the usage of
AI for studying. Majority of students prefer to use the chat gpt AI
coming up to a total of 52.9%, while the other 47.1% use the
alternative AI tools available. Students use AI to assist them with
mostly English/Languages and History/Social Studies with both
26.4%, 22.6% use it for Science, 20.8% for mathematics and the
remaining 3.8% utilize it for other subjects. 60.1% of the students
have some sort of agreement with the efficiency of AI in assisting
with their scholar tasks, 21.4% are nonchalant or neutral towards the
matter, on the other hand the remaining 16.6% beg to differ. Lastly,
the responsibility level of the students seems to be mediocre with
only 58.5% of students, while the remaining 41.5% fluctuating
between sometimes, rarely, and never.

Discussion of findings
It was discovered by the team of students that New Hope High
School students preferably don't use AI for studying. Rather than
using other AI tools for completing tasks, most students select the
chat gpt ai tool. Students largely use AI for English and History/
Social Studies, assuming that this is because of the usage of alot of
information or writing. 33.3% of students agree that AI plays an
adequate role in education, 26.8% strongly agree, in a whole 60.15
have had a wonderful experience with using AI, thus they agree that
its presence makes a positive impact in education. Lastly, although
the percentage were almost close in comparison, the majority of
students stating that they use AI responsibly took the cake, with the
remaining confessing that they have been irresponsible while using
AI.

Conclusion
To conclude, the results showed that AI infact does make an
positive impact in education, with a few students using it for
studying, completing task, and informative grasping. It is shown
that most students use AI for English, which can used to
complete various tasks, such as: essay writing, presentation
ideas, narrative writing, summary insights, etc. On the other
hand AI under the subject History/ Social Studies can be used
for information, research, dates of history, etc. For as much as
the public may complain about how AI has not brough a great
effect to students in education, data proves that it in fact does.
Thus, the creation of AI was not a mistake as it helps
individuals, to complete tasks, brainstorm ideas, reduce stressing
over work loads, it helps to assist in different beneficial areas.
