Yes, I indeed recall some memories because when I was young my age I used to be naughty, attentive,
actively movable, very liked to talk with my friends, and even make visits to different sections just to play.
Regarding my emotions, before I was easy to get infuriated and short-tempered I remember when I was
in pre-school one of my classmates was stubborn then I got angry and ended up stabbing my pencil in his
arm but that was past and much later years I was able to manage my temper and become more friendly
and easy to be talk on and in terms of learning I am very enthusiastic in learning new things especially in
the subject science. I am someone who cannot remain in place and like to chitchat with all my friends. In
differences, it is I was able to improve and balance each domain. From good for nothing to becoming the
best in my class.
2.
There were a lot of teachers like Ma’am Luna in my kinder year who always showed love and was like a
mother when she taught and showed care for us, ma’am Alvarez my grade 5 teacher who is very pretty
and which I had a crush back then and she inspired me to always go to school, ma’am Remillete who is
my adviser and science teacher in grade 7 she is a loving teacher and always care with her students like
a mother, ma’am Cabañero my grade 7 English teacher who is my greatest crush she is so pretty and
make me like English even it is one of my hated subject, ma'am Aquino my English teacher and my
adviser in grade 9 a very mom teacher who teaches us how to respect and remember to look back to the
people who made where we our now, ma’am Columbres my auntie and my English teacher and grade 10
and also the leader or our club which is very well known in the entirety of school which is called RDC-
SOAR a club for teaching students to read and has good reading comprehension and where also I learn
most of my skills and make me improve better and there are a lot of teachers still I wanted to mention like
my Math, Spanish, Drafting teacher, etc. But the one who most inspired me is Mr. Togonon my Arpan
teacher in grade 9, I love the way he teaches, and how he encourages and inspires us. For me, he is the
greatest teacher I have lots to discuss about him but the lines in the book are limited. To boost our
physical, emotional, and social condition there is always exercise and activities to work on and more
verbal discussion no visual aids but when there is a need for visual presentation, he will sketch it on the
board and write the key points of the lesson for us to easy to remember what was discussed. For the
cognitive one of my favorites is the oral exam/test/activity every day even when students are wrong, he
says like “Better luck next time” and another motivational sentence to not make his/her students down. I
wanted to be like him a teacher who inspires students by just being him, he’s simple but he imparts
knowledge that can change a student and inspires them despite the hardship their still hope for success.
3.
For me without these teachers I might not made it this far. I am very thankful to every one of them, and
looking to the development domains' I improve and become better with the help and guidance of my
teachers. Without a teacher, society wouldn't exist as it is now because most people develop in school
where the teacher teaches them to become someone better. Doing the task in the book makes me realize
how being a teacher is hard but they still manage to teach. One day when I will become one I will use the
knowledge and wisdom I inherited to create a more conducive learning place for my future students.
Salute to all teachers.

I have a lot of favorites but for me, the Erikson theory of development is in my favor because this theory
will help me as a teacher to better understand my students which help me to know the challenges they
face in the different stages of their life which will help me to find a way to deal with it. The theory will help
me to better understand how to better support my student's development.

Feeling normal and a little nervous but a little excited. Yes, based on what I observed the students
are all behaving and there is a connection between the students and the teacher, and how
students interact with their classmates is so friendly. During the observation I observed that
despite the student’s friendship naughtiness they still able to follow the discussion and even
participated during the lesson, asking questions with respect, despite being talkative it was never
been a hindrance in the class discussion because it was not disturbing. But if they are
inappropriate behaviors the students’ attention will be called and reminded about their behavior
and the good thing is that the teacher's attitude or how he talks is minimal you can’t feel any
angriness but care.

No, because I was not there but only relying on the sources where I got the information.
2.
The class is composed of diverse students with different levels learning of abilities. In the class based on
the information I get some students have visual impairments like some are near-sighted and far-sighted.,
some are fast learners and slow learners, and the strategies used by the teacher the differentiated
instructions to meet the needs of the students. Also, one of the key factors to its work is that the teacher
must know his/her students and having a profile detail of each student will help the teacher to determine
what kind of activity is best for the students.
3.
The teacher's strategy is offering the students different choices providing a variety of differentiated
materials and plans for the possible different happenings in class. The students responded by
cooperating and responding to the teacher properly. The teacher used differentiated instruction through
constructing the lesson and used other instructional strategies like peer interaction, group collaboration
activities, and others.
Reflect.
1.
When I was in elementary the section was mixed with different students learning capabilities and with
different level of learning abilities. My elementary days were more traditional so it was more on lecturing
and for misbehaving behavior teacher would punish the students either by hitting the hands in front of
many students or standing in the hallway for a long period, one of those students was me and because of
this type of discipline makes my performance get low and hated the teaching and the class discussion
and I often cutting class which led me of having and not lower grade of seventy-five but in high school it is
different because it must prioritize the students need and because the teaching is base on the students
need I was able to excel in some to most subject and earn the top 22 honor spot in our entire school in
junior high school. The teacher provided different activities and most of it is performance and project type,
which is effective for someone like me who is verily kinesthetic and visual learner.
2.
As a future teacher, I think the disposition and traits that I'll need to meet the needs of every learner are
good communication skills and self-confidence because I have most of the skills I need is I already have it
and just need to be polished. Good communication skills will help me to interact with my students make it
easy to know them better and help me to determine their personalities, characteristics strengths, and
weaknesses. It is very important to have a good connection with the students which is achieved by
communicating. Also, self-confidence because despite my life experiences I cannot still get rid of my
introverted personality traits which makes it hard to communicate with others. Having good confidence in
myself will boost my interactions with my students and communication will be no problem. With these
skills and the skills that I already have, a diverse class will be no problem in the future, and learning is
assured.

Since that we didn’t get a chance to visit or interview indigenous people, I made a virtual visit through
YouTube videos. Through the videos I have found I was able to learn about the T’boli regarding the
culture, tradition, and educational system in their tribe. T’boli can be found in the southern Mindanao
mountains of the Philippines. Despite the modern intervention and changes in society, T’boli can preserve
their traditional way of living that has been passed by generations by their ancestors. Most of them can be
found in the Lake Sebu of South Cotabato and it is the place of the School of Living Traditions. The
school infrastructure is made of traditional/native materials of bamboo and cogon, the classroom is
spacious and sometimes used as a place for performances or activities related to their traditions also
sometimes the classroom is used as a shelter for the travelers. The best thing about the T’boli tribe is
there are no restrictions on learning their traditions and it is unforceful, but the T’boli children are taught at
a young age about the traditional activities and practices but it still depends on the children's willingness.
The School of Living Traditions offers programs and services such as arts and crafts, weaving, theatre
and performing arts, non-formal education, and training focusing on the way of their living.
I observed that their teaching and learning process is not on the curriculum that what I had learned and it
is different because it is more on first-hand experience and step-by-step learning and application. Most of
the students are taught how to play instruments and dance, weave a t’nalak, and uphold their unique
values and T’bolis attitude. The learning resources they used were passed by their ancestor which they
kept nurturing to their children to keep the way of the T’bolis tribe. The teachers are the experienced and
aged ones and the interaction between the students and teacher is bound by respect. Students are more
attentive and the way the teacher teaches them is by letting them experience what she/he is teaching
hand on. To the present, the T’boli continue their service in preserving their culture with the help of the
funds of those who are willing to help, and also the travelers give funds no matter the amount the T’boli
people will gladly accept it. What a great people I can say.
Anlayze
1.
Yes, the school fosters a sense of belongingness to the T’boli because the school's purpose is to
preserve their culture and traditions of the way of living and example is the School of Living Tradition of
T’boli in Lake Sebu which is the center of education of the ancestral teaching of the T’boli and also serves
as a shelter for the travelers and even teaching their traditions to the people who pass by and travel there.
2.
Yes, the School of Living Traditions respects the community’s expression of spirituality in a way of
respecting each unique and traditional instrument because they believe that it has spirits lying on it, and
that is why it is played properly based on their traditional ways.
3.
Yes, because the learning provided by the school is the way of living of T’boli not based on foreign
interventions. The learning is hands-on training which also represents the T’boli way of life and
differentiates them from other tribes and also the identity mark of T’boli.
4.
Yes, because the curriculum of T’boli is focused on promoting and preserving their heritage, also the
school develops T’boli children a sense of responsibility for their culture by prolonging and continuing their
culture.
5.
Yes, the school allows research, documentation, and cultural immersion so others can learn and
experience the way of life of the T’boli. The school has no restrictions for anyone who wants to learn the
T’boli life tradition also the school become a homestay for travelers which makes anyone welcome to the
others.
6.
Yes, because the teaching and learning are practical demonstrations it is hands-on and the teaching
process is step-by-step to further enrich the children's interest and strengthen their mastery of a particular
art form like weaving a t’nalak.
7.
Yes, the best example is when there is a gathering where the students especially those students who
mastered a particular art such as dance will showcase a performance and will be viewed by the people in
their community including travelers if present. Sometimes the school becomes a stage place for the
performance because of its spaciousness. Also, they have a place that can be called a museum where
they showcase the important items of the tribe that symbolize the T’bolis’ identity, culture, and tradition.
8.
Yes, because the schools are consulting as well as inviting culture bearers who embody the skills and
techniques of the tribe particularly in art forms to do actual performances or teachers with the wisdom of
the tribe that will impart knowledge and firsthand experience to a youth group who is interested to learn
the tribe's tradition.
9.
Yes, because the school had a history of storytelling, and teaching the right and necessary values.
Evaluation is needed like questioning and performance if necessary so the teacher will be able to know
the level of understanding of the students which assures that the legacy of the tribe is being well inherited
by their
10. Yes, because the tribe’s assessment process involves the application of what have the students
learned which the skills, knowledge, and values have become their own. It also involves creativity and
creation which is in the higher order thinking skills which can be seen in their traditional art forms such as
craftsman and weaving t’nalak.
Another way to promote and uphold indigenous people's knowledge systems practices, and rights
in schools is by advertising nationwide the situation of our indigenous brothers and sisters,
conducting a fund race event to gather funds that are non-government funds because as of the
moment it is used in improving the economy, agriculture, education, etc. Ask the government to
send teachers with the knowledge of the indigenous people. The funds that will be gathered will
be used to build school facilities for the indigenous people to improve their safety, especially the
youths. In other term charity events for the indigenous people. This will open an opportunity to
encourage the indigenous youth to learn more about their culture and tradition and will give
awareness to the people of the Philippines about our indigenous brothers and sisters.
Reflect
1.
Indigenous people's schools are more in firsthand learning which is all about nurturing the youths with the
knowledge, skills, and attitude and preserving their heritage. Unlike other schools the indigenous
especially the T’boli’s never force a child to learn and they only offer to whom is willing. Hospitality can be
seen to them as very Filipino. Despite the differences the indigenous people are openly welcoming
strangers and it was making the county of the Philippines known as a hospitable place.
2.
The most I appreciate is how the students learn in a way without complaining and even being enthusiastic
about their learning, in my younger years I used to hate the teachers, cut class, and even cause trouble. I
used to complain and need attention but the indigenous students were enjoying the learning like it was
the first time, and a fire of enthusiasm in their eyes in learning. I wish I was like that back then.
3.
3.1
Be open to and respect the Indigenous people by knowing and practicing their norms which is the very
least I can do in exchange for their welcoming me as their teacher.
3.2
Uphold and celebrate their culture, beliefs, and practices by parting in their gatherings such celebrations
showcased their culture. Making events in class or school to promote and let others experience their
culture not only makes the indigenous students enjoy and be happy but also the other students including
me as their teacher.
3.3
Advocate for indigenous peoples education by learning their traditional ways such as their ways of
preserving the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of their tribes. And being in their shoes will also make me
understand and know them better.
Artifacts
Being low achievers or high achievers will never define a student it must matter who teaches the students
because I believe a good teacher can lead a person from low to high. In the future as a teacher, I will
remember to be open to everyone especially my students, a teacher that listens to anybody despite their
origins, I will be not biased toward anyone, and to meet my student's needs I will use the best methods or
strategies that will be suited in their level. To determine the student’s different ability levels, it is best to
make a student profile that indicates their strength and weakness which also will be the guide to know
what better differentiated instruction is best or suited to the specific group of learners. Trainers'
methodology is also a good way of teaching learners where the fast one will continue to learn and
improve while the late or slow learners will be given time till they become competent which also I like to
use when I become a teacher in the future, where class settings is more learner-centered while still
having some traditional way of teaching because essential learning is important as same as the progress
of the students.
EPISODE 4
Episode 5
5.1
1.
Most of the students I have observed in the first year are around 18-20 years old. The students are all
active and happily listen to the teacher. Despite being there for my field study, they are still able to focus
on the lesson and not really mind me because they are more into the teacher's discussion.
2.
3.
Yes, despite being a little naughty and talkative, they are still able to manage themselves and not disrupt
the class, and they are mature enough to do what is right, especially since they’re in their freshman year
in college.
4.
Based on what I observed, yes, seeing how they move, interact, and even listen to the discussion, they
have their own ways to work their learning. Even though I wasn’t able to see their activity that day in the
previous observation, I am honestly sure they can work on their own, especially because it is a drawing
subject, and the task needs to be done by each one in a specific period.
5.
In what I observed and timed the span of attention of the students most likely in 10 minutes and 15
minutes. I guess that in the discussion only the hard parts are where the students ask questions or when
they get distracted by their peers.
Analyze
1.
Yes, there were areas in the classroom with specific purposes such as the cabinet for the tools used for
drawing class and also tools used for cleaning, shelves for display of outputs and the materials used by
the instructor and students, and an area for wastes. There will be differences if these areas were not to be
present in the class because these areas provide ergonomics in class which also makes easy access to
the needed instruction materials, tools, etc. Without these areas, the classroom will become less
conducive.
2.
Yes, there were. Rules like good etiquette in the classroom, classroom monitorial chart for the cleaners,
the 5’s in cleaning, etc. These rules and procedures guide students to be responsible, have care for their
surroundings which also encourages collaboration and enriches the students' connections with each
other.
3.
Yes, students’ participation in making the classroom rules will increase the chances that the rules will be
followed because it will give the students a sense of responsibility as they are part of creating the rules.
Students will surely participate because of the sense of integrity and their behavior in following the rules
will reflect their self as a student with moral values.
4.
Since the first day of my observation of Sir Sakandal's classes his class routine starts always with
greetings, recalling of the previous lesson, submitting of assignment if there is one, and excises activities
to slowly improve the pace of the class level task so students will slowly will able to catch with the lesson
or discussion or activity that will be done, and lastly the attendance is done after the lessons and activities
and before the class end which is in a form of index card calling which ensure that students who are
present will be marked present and there will be no late.
5.
There is which students arrange independently by where they feel comfortable and more conducive to sit,
but today is different, and because it is not a hands-on lesson but more on the discussion the seating
arrangement is ignored and Sir Sakandal asks his students to gather in front so everyone will be able to
here and listen well to the lesson which will also help to Sir Sakaldal be able to well modulate his voice.
6.
As I observed the noise level in the classroom is just normal despite some chitchats of the students' Sir
Sakandal's voice is more heard and because the room is only occupied by their class, there is not much
effort because the first-year students of Sir Sakandal are very respectful to him start before entering the
class and the end of the class.
7.
If there is a disruption caused by the student in class Sir Sakandal will pause and happily ask the
students to behave which students happily to comply. Sir Sakandal is a warm and honest person and the
way he approaches his students is very calm which will make the students less tense and nervous and
also it is not in a way to cause embarrassment to the students.
8.
The teacher reinforces positive behavior by being a model of inspiration for the students to follow good
behaviors, the teacher's positive attitude, interaction, and happy approach make the students act
positively because they feel the sense of being welcome and appreciated by the teacher. A person's
behaviors will reflect his/her surroundings.
Reflect
As a future teacher enforcing positive discipline is a must because this will shape the students to
be better and good people. One’s behavior will reflects oneself and its surroundings. A teacher
can affect one's behavior by changing, changing the students to goodness will create a society
with people with ethics and moral values.
5.2
Analyze
1.
Because of the class routines and classroom organization it make the class more conducive to learning
which also affects the positive behavior of students and improves their performance in learning.
2.
The teacher should put the first in mind students the best theory based on creating classroom
organization and routines is the behaviorist theory which is more on fixing the behavior of the students
and a classroom that promotes positive behaviors will create a positive environment for the students to
enrich the goodness in them.
3.
the behavior strategies in my mind that will be more effective in managing the behavior of the learners
are the model ideal behavior and built positive relationships because the model ideal behavior will give
the students an idol that will be their model to follow which will help them to be better and have good
behavior and built positive relationship so teacher- students and student-peers connection will be
enriched which will make the class more healthy and will boost the goodness in each one.
Reflect
1.
I would like to teach the grade 9 – 10 year level and it is my ideal year level to teach when I become one.
It is easy to teaches students in this level because than the grade year level below there are more
advance and can cope up to my level of instruction and I am not really good at communicating with kids
but this year level have already experience and implementing rules and organizing classroom will be easy
the only thing I will focused is how to further develop my connections as teacher to my students.
2.
Respect the Teacher and Classmates (Improve the moral values of the students)
Speak only English (to develop their English language proficiency which will be one of their asset
in the future)
Raise your hand (If want to speak or go to the toilet to prevent interruption in class)
CLAYGO (also to improve the student's sense of environmental responsibility and to maintain the
conduciveness of the classroom).
3.
Yes, because they are part of the rules creation they will develop a sense of responsibility and will most
likely assured that they will obey the rules.

1.
Yes, it is indeed effective because it makes the students aware of what to do and helps them to be
disciplined and know order in their classroom for a better education experience.
2.
The routines that were systematic and consistently implemented basely in my observation are the
classroom movements, the transitions in the activities, asking questions during the lesson, asking
assistance, collection of materials and submission of the activities, group working, activities movement,
checking of assignment and lastly the use of supplies. Because these routines I always observed in Sir
Sakandal's classes.
Reflect
The most likely I would apply in my class in the future are working in pairs/groups, asking questions and
assistance, transitioning in classroom activities, use of classroom supplies, and the preliminary routine of
greetings, prayer, attendance, and classroom cleanliness. Working with pairs/groups encourages
collaboration, asking questions and assistance will enrich the connection and relation of the teacher and
students and with their peers, and transition in the activities will allow students to stretch their bodies and
take a break from learning, maximize the use of the materials and supplies in the classroom will give a
better experience to the students in their learning, and the preliminary activities which usually done before
the discussion or lesson start is one of the important starters which about respect and disciplined which is
done every day.

Episode 7
Analyze
1.
The teacher's voice is well-modulated and it has a very calm tone the way he speaks is very confident
and shows that he is very knowledgeable about what he is teaching which makes the students respect
him, be attentive, and actively participate in the discussion.
2.
The punctuality of the teacher affects the classroom by having discipline on time and having good time
management which can inspire students to be punctual in class and even might get rid of the “tomorrow
habit” and give more students time and improve the student's learning experience.
3.
The classroom layout affects students in learning and motivation. Having a conducive classroom can
increase the learning experience of the students, motivate them to work hard, and improve their
workability in the workplace workshop or classroom because of its ergonomity.
Reflect
1.
The statement means that having effective classroom management will result in the teaching or
instruction being effective and without good classroom management learners will find the class boring and
unmotivated which will hinder the students learning.
2.
To ensure effective classroom management I’ll make sure that the physicality of the classroom is
conducive to the learners to learn, and the learning space must be suited to a specific lesson when it is
more practical the learning will be on the working shop. For the instructions, I will prepare a lesson plan
that will be my guide in teaching the students which will help me stay on track with what I am discussing
and ensure that at the end of the lessons, the objectives are achieved. In the short term, the Conducive
Learning Center and Lesson Procedure Guide will help me to ensure effective classroom management.
7.2
Analyze
1.
There were four teaching strategies employed by the teacher and they help the teacher and students in
the teaching and learning processes, especially in classroom management. The strategies used by the
teacher increase the student's productivity and even enrich the relations between the teacher and
students, it also makes the students independent in their learning and dependent on group collaboration
and more attentive and active in participating in the activities given by the teachers.
2.
The strategies that the teacher did not use are the achiever praise and punishment because this might
raise tension between students and harm their relationship with each other and the teacher-student
relation affecting the balance and bringing chaos in the class which I think why my resource teacher Sir
Sakandal didn't include this type of strategies. Praising might make students big-headed and punishment
can harm students feeling and even make them feel inferior and make them conceive a hatred towards
another and toward the teacher.
Reflect
The best classroom management strategy I think that I need to employ for diverse learners is
differentiated instruction where I can give the best learning that meets their needs as a learner
which will further improve their learning and the class progress. Despite differences in activity the
objective of the teacher is to ensure learning progression is assured to achieve.

For me, the taught curriculum is easy to find in school settings because it is the lessons that the teacher
teaches.
The hidden curriculum is not easy because it occurs unexpectedly and is unintended for students'
learning.
Yes, all is found in the school setting. Curricula have a strong link with one another, and they both benefit
from one another.
Reflect
Based on the diagram, all the curricula are interconnected with each other despite the differences in their
description and how the curriculum works individually they share one aspect which is to support and
guide the teacher in the teaching and learning process of the students. The diagram shows how's the
process of the curriculum by the K-to-12 guidelines which is suggested by DepEd. Starting from the
implementation of the recommended curriculum. The teacher will begin to create a lesson plan by the
recommended curriculum, followed by applying the lesson with the aid of the supported curriculum as a
resource. Determining the effectiveness of the materials students will be going through in assessment
and therefore the teacher will achieve the learning outcomes. Lastly, the final process is development is
the hidden curriculum. Therefore, it only concludes that the diagram shows how the curricula revolve
around the implementation of the curriculum in line with the K-to-13 guidelines by the DepEd.
