Department: Field Service Payroll type: Salary


Reports To: Regional Service Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary
Installs, repairs, calibrates, and maintains monitoring equipment and instrumentation used in
health care and medical research field by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Include the following, other duties may be assigned.
• Installs technical equipment in medical and research facilities.
• Inspects, repairs, calibrates, maintains electrical, mechanical and network
equipment following manufacturers’ specifications, using test and analysis instruments
• Maintains inventory of parts issued
• Demonstrates and explains correct operation of equipment to customers.
• Modifies or develops instruments or devices, under supervision of the
engineering staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform

Education and/or Experience


One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two year related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, specifically in electrical,
HVAC and/or networking systems

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral,
or diagram form.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software;
Manufacturing software

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations


Current driver's license and valid insurance

Other Qualifications
Must be able to travel up to 50% - 80% of the time, including trips up to three weeks at a time
