Notes - The Game Has Changed
Notes - The Game Has Changed
DEAN GRAZIOSI
The time is right now to have the opportunity to have no glass ceiling, using your own value,
not relying on others and to be more in control of your life, your decisions, and your time.
Your most valuable asset is within your life experience. Your knowledge is valuable. You
could shorten the gap for someone else, allow that person to go faster. People are willing to
pay for speed. You just need to know how to identify what it is, how to extract it, package it,
and get people to say yes.
Trial and Error Connecting the Dots (shorten the learning curve
for Job, Career, Relationship, Skills, etc.)
When you have the chance to model proven practices, in an industry that’s thriving, then
the only thing you have left is you need hunger. You got to have a desire, a purpose and a
passion to get it done. And you got to keep going forward, persist until you succeed.
Secret #1: How To Extract What To Share & Who To Share It With
The smaller it gets, the more your confidence goes up. And it’s still probably millions of
people (target audience).
Ex. Women -> Women that are older -> Women that are going through menopause that
wanna thrive naturally through the process.
Ex. Adults that want to be healthier -> Adults that want a solid diet plan -> Adults that
are looking for how to go vegan.
The more you narrow it down, the more your confidence goes up, and the more you
know exactly who to go after.
Your ideal client is out there WAITING for you.
Not only does someone need your life experience, they’re waiting for it.
There’s people out there right now that can only hear it from you.
Your voice, your style, who you are is exactly what somebody needs right now.
1. Course: You could pre-record it and take your time doing it. You could just do it once
and sell it over and over again. Your course could be selling and you’re doing something
else. It’s a low entry point (low price) for people as a great place for you to get started
and for them to get started.
2. Coaching: You get to go fast. You don’t have to prerecord or film anything. You could
start really quick once you have the framework. You can see first-hand one-on-one
transformation you’re making in people’s life. Everyone needs and wants a coach
nowadays. Coaching can charge a little more than a course (one-on-one/Group
coaching)
3. Mastermind (Groups): A group training, a community, a workshop. One to many,
teaching many people in the same time. Create a collective wisdom. Create a connection
and community with the right people that aligned. Mastermind get to charge the most.
Just figure out which is the best place for you to get to START.
TERI IJEOMA
$50 million in sales. Started with just 2 people.
Need an Exit Strategy – how can I make an extra income so I don’t have to stay at this job?
Passion -> Stock
First start off by doing it as a hobby. Do a little stock investing while working as assistant
principle. Keep practicing. Started making money and leave the job. Trade stocks and travel
the world.
Getting into this industry by start sharing to some friends about stocks trading in the coffee
shop.
Insecurity (from coffee date to creating a stock) – is this going to be too much work? Feel
overwhelmed from the previous job.
Did things little by little, and found she enjoying it. Changes people life with her passion (by
doing something she love).
What’s one skill or strategy that you could share with everyone that you wished you knew
sooner?
You don’t have to have it all together in the very beginning. One little bit at a time.
If you can find an answer for yourself, there are millions of other people that need that
answer as well if it really works. You get to learn while you’re also doing something that’s
your own business and expanding your own experience.
For things to change, you got to change. For things to get better, you got to get better.
We’re all equal as souls in this planet but not all equal in the marketplace.
Find the way to do more for others than anybody else in the industry and you will dominate
it as long as you live. Add more value.
Business is a spiritual game. The more you do for others, the more you contribute, if you
organize yourself, the more you will benefit as well. It’s this virtuous cycle that makes it all
works.
1. Strategy
The right strategy can save you more time and make you more money.
How to make more time with the same amount of time? – Become more valuable.
Successful people don’t just know what to do, they can get themselves to do it.
Strategy is not something you want to start with.
The most successful people in the world discover something different than just their
strategy. They figure out what they really want and why they want it. When you
want something so bad, it’ll pull you to find strategies. If you start with strategies,
you might figure it out and not do it.
2. Story - a belief that you’ve told yourself over and over and over again. If you tell
yourself negative/limitation stories, you literally shut off any ability to use any
strategy.
Ex. “It works for other people, but not me.” That’s the story.
Divorce the story of your limitation and marry the truth of your higher abilities, of
your power as a human being. Whatever was stopping you usually was a limiting
belief.
3. State
The mental emotional state you’re in, controls everything.
Your state controls your story. If you’re in a lousy state, everything’s terrible. When
you are in love, you will do anything.
Your mental, emotional, physical state is the most important key to success in
business. 80% of success in business is psychology, mindset, emotion.
20% s the mechanics and the strategy.
Energy is a habit. The way you move, the way you use your voice, determines your
energy.
Our state is control by two things, what we focus on, if we change our focus we
change our feeling. And the thing that changes the most is our body. Our physical
body can change your state no matter what’s going on in your mind. But most of us
try to do it in our head. The way you move, the way you gesture changes it all.
Do the High Power Pose
When the opportunity is in front of me, I choose to believe and grab it. Because I
grab it, I grow, and because I grow I’ve become who I am as a person.

We are not the people we show the world. We are the people and the actions we take
when no one is watching.
Perspective is Power
Sometimes with have to see it through new lens. Sometimes we have to be open-minded
and not let old beliefs come in. The belief that creeps in your head that doesn’t serve you
has already cost you too much. Cost of inaction is way too big.
No one is coming to save us. That fact is it’s on us. When we decide it’s on us, then the only
person we’re watching in the mirror, it’s time to gain new skills and take new action.
Challenge your mind, instead of looking for what’s wrong, look for what’s right.
The secret is to care more. When you care more, you look through a different lens on what
you are going to deliver, you look through a different lens on how you’re going to
communicate. You look through a different lens on how you’re going to show up. When you
care for someone and you want to serve them, it’s different than just trying to sell them.
They feel the emotion and just fall in love with your product.
The art of caring more for other people is one of the biggest secrets to success.
It’s a disservice if you don’t sell your product that could change other people’s life.
1. WARM NETWORK
Sales can start from your warm network.
When you create something you absolutely love, something that you know can help people,
you tell friends, and your friends tell other friends, and your first group of sales will come
through your warm market.
Your first sales build a level of confidence inside of you.
And you adjust your product along the way to make it better.
2. Social Media
Instead of social media using you and you get sucked in and you’re just scrolling, how about
it’s time that we use it.
- Intrigue: Write something intriguing. Post something intriguing about your solution
statement, about the thing that you want to share, about your life experience that
can help other people.
- Interact: People will like and comment. And you got to interact back.
- Invite: Invite them to your page/course/phone call/etc.
When you feel this way, you’ll do anything it takes to get someone to say YES. If you love
someone, and you have the product that could serve them and get them the outcome
they want, you never feel like you’re selling them. Instead, you get to serve them now.
You get to shorten the gap, solve their problem, help them go faster. It puts a different
twist on how you approach things. And you want to keep making the product better and
better.
Get people to enthusiastically say YES by communicating and creating an irresistible offer
so good that it doesn’t need hype or pressure for people to say YES.
RENEE MARINO
Keep doing it imperfectly, while you’re scared, while the little voice in your mind keep
popping up.
Taking imperfect action is one of your greatest tools to your success. Do it when you’re
afraid, when you’re scared. Because when you do, that’s what develop the self-confidence
that builds upon each other to turn to this armor of self-belief. And then if you start today,
you can look back a year from now, and say, look how far I’ve come.
STEVEN BARTLETT
Very few people have a personal mission statement, so their decision making is
opportunistic. They’ll be easily swayed by external temptation or distraction disguised as
opportunity.
Until you have real clarity on that mission statement, decisions can be disjointed and
confusing.
Steven Hunger Equation (can be used to make a habit, discipline, motivation (long term
behavior sticks):
Strength of your WHY + Reward of the Pursuit – Cost of the Pursuit
Dream/Passion/Purpose
Make the reward of the pursuit as easy as possible
Make the cost of the pursuit as low as possible (put it on the kitchen counter plugged in,
easy accessible)
Feynman technique. Learn -> Write -> Simplify -> Teach -> Get feedback -> Revise -> Learn
Run experiment. Whenever you find yourself at a moment where you’re guessing or you’re
wondering or you’re procrastinating, ask what is the experiment that I could run to find the
answer out? Because in life or business, the cost isn’t being right or wrong, it’s the time you
waste trying to make the decision. Even if it’s wrong, the next day you will be one step
closer to the 1/10 that changes your life. Your rate of experiment, the speed which you
make those decisions, your rate of failure is probably the single biggest predictor of your
outcomes in life.
When you’re lost, you just got to start walking. And most people don’t do that, they sit, they
fall, they lay down, they stand still. But in life, it’s action. You may fail, and failure is
feedback, feedback is knowledge and knowledge will be your power. Keep going.

Today, let the hero inside you come out. Let that person that you know you’re meant to be
come out. Every day is an opportunity to start over. Stop getting ready to get ready.
Whatever it is that you have, let’s just take today make the new beginning.
If it is a year from now and this was your best year of your life, what would that look like?
The biggest SALES job that you need to do is on you. You need to create your compelling
future and sell it you yourself for the next one year.
Ripple Effect – the people you affect will going on to affect others.
We got to give ourselves permission to be bad before we get good.
If you want to have speed at results, you have to take the emotion out of your
implementation.
When our fears and limiting beliefs are stopping us from moving forward, if we take massive
action, the action will accelerate our clarity and the clarity will bring out more action, more
confidence and more certainty.
Trent Shelton
A legend is just an ordinary person that’s extraordinary at certain things.
You are steps ahead of anybody else. You’re taking OWNERSHIP over your life. It all starts
with YOU. Your next level starts with you. Your breakthrough starts with you. The things
that you say you want, your dream, your vision, it all starts with you.
There are people that you don’t even know yet, that are waiting for you to answer your call.
You’re enough for the hearts that need you, you’re enough for people that are meant to be
impacted by your life. You are meant to be you. It’s SELFFISH for you to not show up.
It’s selfish to those that need to see you as the example. Some people need to see you of
overcoming your challenges.
When the mission becomes big enough, the fear will never be strong enough, the excuses
will never be strong enough.
2. Trust your vision. There is a vision that had been uniquely designed and prescribed
to you.
Prison Perspective – Limitation, can’t do this because of....
Power Perspective – I don’t know how ’m going to make it through, but I’m going to
make it through. No matter what.
Your vision has been given to you. Your soul speaks to you.
Sometimes you are finding all the reasons that justify why you can’t do it instead of
finding one reason to justify why you can do it.
Allow the reality to catch up with your faith.
Stay loyal to the process, attack the process, trust the process.
NICOLE BURKE
Your first step is to take the thing you love, take something that make you feel good,
and start believe in it. Practice and enjoy it and start to become a believer in your
own thing. Start believing that this thing you love, isn’t just for you, it could be for
your whole neighborhood, for your whole city, eventually for the whole world. When
you become a believer, business gets easy.
Pick a place where every day you’re going to show up. Show up just as you are, and
do the things. Just live your life. Do that things that make you feel good. Document
the work. There’s going to be days when you don’t know what to say, when you’re
struggling, but continue to show up. You have someone who’s watching you,
someone who’s waiting for you, someone who’s struggling the way you’ve struggled,
someone who has days where they want to quit, and they need to see you show up
when you want to quit.
A seed, you plant it, water it and tend it, it won’t just happen overnight.
But days, weeks, and months from now, there will be leaves and stems and flowers
and fruits, and that one seed will become a hundred or a thousand more seeds.
You can create a world that you want to live in. Plant the seed.
Tony Robbins
People are rewarded in public what they practice in private.
Do things over and over again. Keep stepping up and trying things. You may not
always do it well, but you got better and better and better.
Master your mind and emotions. If you’re worried, if you’re fearful, if you’re doubt,
and you let them dominate you, they’re the break on your ability to go forward. But
if you can focus on your passion, your desire to serve, seeing the impact you want,
then you have the accelerators, the excitement and passion that move you forward.
The biggest mistake people make - I just don’t feel ready yet, maybe in the future.
The road to someday leads to a town called nowhere. If you wait till you feel ready,
you’ll never do it.
You rarely feel ready, you feel ready after you do it over and over again. Confidence
is like tying your shoe, once you done it enough times, you don’t need to think about
it.
The philosophy of stretching. If you say I can’t do something, the you must.
If there’s something that you know you did it, and you would be a better person, you
know it would work and you don’t do it, then you must do it. As soon as you say I
can’t, say I must and just do it. And if you develop that habit, your life will change.
together.
(Tony’s Racing Car metaphor) When you get into a spin, the most important thing to
do is focus on where you want to go. Not on what you’re afraid of. If you’re focus on
the wall, you’re going crash. Force yourself to focus on where you want to go.
We have a habit of focusing on what we’re afraid of. That’s why most people don’t
succeed. You have to train yourself to do the opposite.
When you’re doing the right thing, there’s so much momentum going the wrong
direction. It doesn’t change instantly, which makes you scared, makes you want to
look again. If you look, you’ll hit it. Force yourself to focus on where you want to go.
Learn to trust it. Keep doing and after a while, you master it.
They are two pains in life, there are pains of discipline and there’s the pain of regret.
And discipline weighs ounces, and regret weights tons.
Things that start small become really big over time. And if you put your heart and
soul into it, you’re going to be doing some stuff that make you proud, make you
grateful. You’re going to touch someone’s life with some of the insights you have.
It only takes a moment of courage to change your life, to change your game.
