Experiment NO:- 06

Object :- To verify the super position theorem .

Requirement Table:-
Name of Type Range Quantity
Instrument
Pannel Board
of
Superposition
Specific
function
Generator
Digital
Multimeter
Connecting
wire
DC power
supply

Theory :-
In a linier bilateral network connected several shows the
loop current I load voltage at any point in the network is equal
to the sum of current or voltage of each other individual source
considered respectively will all other source made in operation
replaced by impedance equal to their internal resistance .
Verify super position theorem the circuit in the figure has
been component into circuit.
R2
I 3 ’= ∗I 1
R 2+ R 3

E1
∗R 2

I 3 ’=
(
R 1+
R2R3
R 2+ R 3 )
R 2+ R 3

E1R2
I 3 ’=
R1 R 2+ R 2 R 3+ R 3 R 1

Similarly-
E2 R1
I 3 ”=
R 1 R 2+ R 2 R 3+ R 3 R 1

Therefore , there is two source connected though the final

current through the load R3 is
I 3=I 3 ’+ I 3 ”

E 1 R 2+ E 2 R 1
I 3=
R 1 R 2+ R 2 R 3+ R 3 R 1

Procedure:-
Connect the circuit elements according to the circuit
after connecting we give supply in circuit find the current value
in different element connect the circuit and increase the
current by their measuring instruments .

Error:-
There are some errors in practical and theoretical values .
Result :-
We have got the result accordingly to the theoretical
value is in proper unit hence superposition theorem is verified .

Precaution :-
 Circuit should be connected carefully .
 All connections should be tight .
 All reading should be taken carefully
