EVO
INTRODUCTION

EVO is a smart touch screen developed to manage Dossena devices connected through a Modbus RS485 network. EVO is able:
- to show through its display the state of the Modbus slaves and their main measurements
- to show the previous information also on your PC through its web server functionality
- to warn you for alarms in progress
- to log the alarms occurred
- to log main measurements of devices (through USB pendrive)
- to act as gateway between the Modbus RTU and Modbus over TCP/IP
- to provide the logged files in CSV format by connecting to the integrated ftp server with a free FTP client like Filezilla .

EVO can simultaneously manage up to:


• 10 MIDO
• 10 DER
• 10 SRI3I2 (each one with up to 16 I2FL)
• 10 SRI3H2 + 10 H2FL

When EVO is turned on, this is the home page when no devices are defined:

On first use, some parameters must be set to start the normal operation.
Tap on the “SETUP” button and the following page will be displayed:

SETUP

In this page the parameters to be set are:


• Time and date: set it with the up and down arrows
• Number of devices present on the network, tap on the relevant device button to setup a device
• Tap on the gear to setup the log data saving frequency
• Adjust the buzzer level or turn it off
• Setup EVO network parameters as needed

In the device setup page you can choose the number of devices to poll, just tap on the number of devices present and the green indicators will
light up to the number you need. Tap the NONE button to remove all the devices. If you setup only one device, the startup page will be the
device’s page measurement. When one or more device(s) are set up, the devices buttons on the start page turn from light gray to dark gray and
tapping on them directs to the measurement (and alarm, if alarms are defined for the device) page:

When the SRI3I2 has its associated I2FLs, by tapping the numbered buttons on its page you can access the I2FL to check the faulty branch:

Tap on the IMD PAGE button to return to the IMD or HOME to return to the HOME page.
When the SRI3H2 has its associated FLs, by tapping the numbered buttons on its page you can access the H2FL to check the faulty branch:

In this page it is possible to view the actual alarms.

In this page it is possible to view all alarms and events that occurred. By selecting the period concerned, you can extract a table for all alarms
detected during this length of time, by using the appropriate buttons.
OTHER

EVO also has an integrated FTP server and a web server so the user can browse the most important pages also directly on his PC and it is also
possible to download a free VNC viewer so that all EVO pages are displayed on his PC.

The user can download the files by connecting to the EVO’s ftp server (ftp://<device_ip>).
NOTE: In order to store log files plug a pendrive to the available USB port.

The credentials to access the ftp and web server are:


User: admin
Password: admin
