In order to access tasks, and guidelines in the work application UHRS (Universal Human Relevance
System), you must first create a Windows Live ID (WLID), or known as a Windows Account Email
Address (Hotmail, Outlook).
Note: If you already have a WLID set up using your email, or if you already have a UHRS account,
there is no need for you to create a new account. Please skip the steps below and proceed through
the Project Qualification Process to enter your WLID in the indicated field.
You may not be able to setup a WLID if you have a school, university or business email address. In
these cases, we suggest you use a different email address such as @gmail.com. If the sign-up page
says you can only use an outlook or Hotmail address you are on the wrong sign-up page and you
need to use the one we have linked in these instructions.
What the error message means is that you have not logged back into your LiveID/Outlook.com
account since creating it. When a new Microsoft Account/LiveID/Outlook.com account is created,
before the system will let you login to any other Microsoft service, it will ask you a few questions like
setting your time zone, language, and zip code, which Microsoft refers to as “Verifying the account.”
The Microsoft Account/LiveID/Outlook.com account will not be “Verified” until the above is done, so
please revisit www.live.com, login with your WLID and complete your profile as required. You
should then be able to log into UHRS.
Also, when you have created your WLID, if you receive an email from Microsoft containing a
verification link please make sure you click the link to verify your email.
What do I do when I login and it says I am not authorized?
Ensure you are logging in with your WLID created with the personal email address you have
provided us. If you have another WLID you must ensure you are fully signed out of it. If your other
WLID is associated with your Windows 10 computer profile it must be signed out of at that level. This
is another reason we highly recommend setting up a separate user account on your computer to use
for this qualification and project.
