Dear Grade 12 Students,

Attention: Parents and Guardians

Greetings of peace and grace!

We would like to inform you that as part of the Placement and Testing Program of the SLUBasic Education
School (SLU-BEdS) Laboratory Senior High Department Center for Counseling and Wellness (LSHD-CCW).
ALL GRADE12 STUDENIS whoare currently enrolled this Academic Year 2024-2025 will be required to take
the Readiness Test for Colleges and Universities (RTCU) on November 16 and 23, 2024. The RTCU will be
held at the Gerard Deckaestecer Function Hall of the SLU-BEds Navy Base Campus. The students shall
wear civilian clothes during the said testing dates.

The RTCU intends to measure a student's readiness for college. This standardized measure for academic
readiness is composed of three (3) subtests that are designed to assess a student's general knowledge and
skills in the following areas: English, Mathematics, and Science. These knowledge and skills are considered
necessary in the entrylevel undergraduate programs found in Higher Education Institutions (CHED
Resolution No. 298-2011). Moreover, the resuts of the RTCU are personalized per student in which they
can use as supporting documents for their own personal use and transactions outside SLU.

The RTCU results will be used as ONE of the major bases for our Grade 12 students' admission for a degree
program in Saint Louis University.

Below are the RTCU testing dates assigned per section. Please note that students who will not be able to
take the RTCU on the given dates will have to take it on another testing date. Ageneral orientation will also
be given during the Homeroom Period on November 14, 2024:
