Would you vote for a candidate that is Determined, Sincere and has a purpose to run as a

barangay captain, not just for the job but to lend a helping hand to the people here in our
barangay? That's me. My name is Jester Allain G. Egano; I am your first ever young
candidate, and soon will be the first ever young barangay captain. As I mentioned before, I
did not file my candidacy just for the job, money, or fame of my surname; I did this in view
of the fact that I am a candidate who has the heart of a "Champion of Purpose," and when we
say "Champion of a Purpose," that demonstrates doing what is right, wanting to make
change, and trying to make a positive impact. Yes, I'm trying to make change for the system
of our barangay because I always noticed the carelessness along the lines of a lack of projects
such as livelihood, discrimination, poverty, no curfew, and so on, and that totally bothers me.
But forsooth, if I won this position, I'd be doing my job right, like promoting “livelihood
projects” for the purpose of generating an income daily to support their family, "Anti-
discrimination" so you won't be accused of what gender you are and so that our barangay will
lead to a moral diversity, Set an hourly curfew for minors. and impose a fine for disobedience
and public scandals, "Cessation of Food Insecurity," this program has the ability to eradicate
poverty as well as ensure that all residents of the barangay, particularly the poor and the most
vulnerable, have equal access to economic resources and a sufficient supply of safe,
nutritious food throughout the year. "Segregation Policy” owing to the fact that improper
garbage disposal is the biggest problem in every region of the world, so let's recalibrate our
steps and redirect our minds because our collective micro efforts will have a macro effect.
Lastly, is to have “Transparent and Good Governance”, like what I said in "Champion of a
Purpose," doing what is right and trying to make a positive impact, and if you vote me as
your barangay captain, the outcome of our barangay will lead to satisfaction. Some of my
platforms may sound cliché to all of you, but to tell you, each of my platforms will be carried
out promptly, and transformations will be made in our barangay as soon as possible. Even
though I'm just novice or a beginner candidate, I know there is a lot of I don't know and a lot
I'm willing to learn. I hope you'll still have the faith in me to be your next captain. In
addition, in this barangay, the majority of my fellow runners are stronger and more well-
known, but I keep fighting and get over myself by simply thinking that I can do anything
through Christ who strengthens me. Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.
