Table 1: Duy Tan University's enrollment targets from 2008 to 2023.
From the data table, we can observe that the enrollment quotas have increased by
approximately 148% from 2008 to 2023. The significant growth in enrollment quotas in
recent years reflects a rising demand for higher education, which is highly commendable.
However, it also poses challenges in terms of accommodating the increasing number of
students.
Using linear prediction methods, we forecast that by 2030, the enrollment quota
will reach 7,725 students. With such a substantial number of students, several issues
arise:
The need for additional classrooms and infrastructure to cater to the growing
student population demands a significant investment in both time and financial resources.
Striking a balance between this long-term investment and the immediate need for suitable
learning spaces presents a considerable challenge.
Duy Tan University has already implemented a method of combining online and
in-person learning. However, this approach brings its unique challenges, such as ensuring
the quality of both modes of education, maintaining student engagement without direct
interaction, and supporting faculty in adapting to these new teaching methods.
This project will initially be tested for the Information Technology sector and then
expanded to various other fields throughout the university.
