Detailed Description: The Green Heaven Plant Nursery project aims to establish an
environmentally friendly and sustainable plant nursery in Ottawa. This project supports
Ottawa’s urban greening efforts by providing a variety of native and drought-resistant
plants to local gardeners, landscapers, and environmental initiatives. Additionally, a
children's playground area will be incorporated to engage the community during summer.

Project Exclusions

 No direct selling to large national retailers; focus will be on local

customers.
 Excluding plant types that are not native or drought tolerant.
 No greenhouse or indoor plant production setup in the initial phase.

a. Working on the detailed project scope allowed us to clarify exactly
what we wanted the Green Heaven Plant Nursery to accomplish,
making it easier to set actionable goals.
b. The activity list was a complex part of this assignment, as breaking
down each deliverable into specific activities with duration, resources,
and prerequisites highlighted the dependencies and potential
bottlenecks in the project.
c. . Assigning roles and responsibilities underscored each member’s
specific skills, which will help us manage tasks efficiently while
respecting each person’s strengths.
d. Developing the marketing strategy was particularly interesting as it
pushed us to think about how to engage the community and raise
awareness about sustainable gardening practices.
e. This assignment demonstrated the importance of proper planning and
collaboration in project management, which gave us confidence to
handle real-world projects with a structured approach.
