The diagram illustrates the process of recycling used glass bottles.

Overall, it can be seen that there are 3 stages with 12 steps, beginning with collecting
consumed bottles after customers utilize and ending with purchasing recycled ones at the
supermarkets.
Looking at the diagram closely, the first step is that people throw used bottles away in a
collection point before a truck convey these bottles to a cleaning plant. Then, at the
second stage, glass bottles are sorted into three categories based on their color (green,
brown and clear) at a glass factory after being processed in high pressurised water. This is
follwed by crashing consumed glass bottles into pieces in order to melt them on a furnace
to turn them into liquid form.
The next step is that this liquid is mixed with new liquid glass before being poured into
moulds. At the third stage, the recycled bottles are filled and packed in order to be sold at
the stores.

The recycled liquid glass is then mixed with new liquid glass and poured into a mould to
form new glass bottles.
During the final stage of the process, the recycled bottles are filled and packaged, and
then transported to supermarkets to be sold.
