Answers to Common Partner Support Questions

VMware, SED, & AOD Partner Portal login or Access issues


 Partner User Registration Guide – Please note that only Distributors are authorized for
estore access. This is not applicable for resellers.
 If you experience any issues while activating the account, please visit the Account Self-
Service tool or leverage our Chat Bot to help resolve your issues.

Invitation to Partner Program


 For VMware Partners who need their invite resent: please forward original request along
with VMware Partner ID to request a resend of the invitation.
 For VMware Partners who have not received an invite as of this date: We are still
working through the details for other VMware Partner Programs and routes-to-market. If
you currently align to one of the programs, then we kindly ask for your patience while we
work through the process.
 VMware Resellers and Distributors who have not been invited into the partner program
or did not accept their invitation to the Broadcom Advantage Program may continue to
transact only through 5 PM PST, April 24, 2024, after which no future
orders/transactions will be accepted by Broadcom.

VMware Partners Updating Primary Contacts


 For VMware partners needing to update primary contact, alternate primary contact, or
Compliance contacts, please forward original email request to both
[email protected] and partner.helpdesk@broadcom. Include the VMware
Partner ID and contact information updates.

VMware Multi-Country Letter of Authorization


 If a partner is located in the US and was sent an invitation to join, but have different
locations in a different country, they will need to submit a request for the Multi-Country
Authorization letter. Partner MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL ENTITY IN THAT COUNTRY IN
ORDER TO RESELL IN THAT COUNTRY. Partner will not receive approval to sell in a
country that they do not have a physical location in. If the partner has multiple locations
across multiple regions, and each location receives a separate invite (due to each
location having a different Partner ID #) then Partner is not required to submit the Multi-
Country Authorization Submission form request.

VMware Preferred Distributors Lists


 Targeted to be released on March 1st, 2024. Please continue to check the partner
portals for updates and release.
VMware Deal Registrations
 As of February 2nd, 2024, all Deal Registrations were set to invalid. Moving forward, all
deal registrations are paused until further notice.

VMware Strategic Account Teaming Agreement


 A Teaming Agreement is required for a partner to work any deals for a STRATEGIC
ACCOUNT
 Steps to access the Strategic Account Teaming Agreement
o Visit the Broadcom Partner Portal and login
o Select Division for which you are submitting form (Enterprise Software and
Mainframe Solutions, Cybersecurity (Symantec) Solutions, or VMware by
Broadcom)
o Depending on division selected, the Strategic Account Teaming Agreement will
be listed on left side of page, at top or bottom.
o Click on the engagement request form and it will be sent to the Partner Helpdesk
Team.
o The Team will process your submission to the appropriate Account Director for
them to review and make their decision.
o The Partner Helpdesk team will update you on the final decision.
