 INTRODUCTION

This division-led Integrative Assessment Package is a collaboratively

designed performance task that integrates two or more competencies within and
across other areas like English, Science, Mathematics, EPP, TLE/TVE, Values and
other subjects. It is aligned to the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs) to
help students attain their learning goals essential for their understanding and
development that are meaningful to their lives.

This assessment seeks to combine students’ learning from numerous

disciplines to a single output, which can be done by themselves or with a minimum
assistance from the teachers, parents or guardians with least work pressure.

The integrative performance task uses the GRASPS assessment model and is
accompanied with clear directions and appropriate scoring rubrics. GRASPS is a
design tool to develop a performance task with an emphasis on context and role-
playing. The acronym stands for the steps in the process, which include Goals, Roles,
Audience, Situation, Product-Performance-Purpose, and Standards, which are the
criteria developed for success. The GRASPS design tool includes a stem statement
that a teacher can construct in a scenario for a performance task (Mayes, & Myers,
2015).

performance task to assess the content and performance standards that
describe the knowledge, abilities and skills in English, Science, Math, and
MTB-MLE, etc. Have a joyful and self-fulfilling experience as you navigate
through this task!

 DEAR PARENTS AND LEARNING FACILITATORS

This performance task aims to develop your child to become

independent learner who can study and work independently on the
assessment. However, as we shift to distance learning modalities in this
pandemic time, you as parent/guardian play a very significant role in your
child’s learning.

When necessary, you are requested to facilitate and guide the learner
in the assessment process and monitor as well the tools designed by the
teacher to enable him/her accomplish the assessment task with least
pressure. You may communicate with the teacher to give updates on your
child’s situation, progress, and challenges encountered while
accomplishing this performance task.

mga bata nga haom sa inyong leksyon matag grado.
Ikaw ang gipili sa inyong magtutudlo nga morepresentar sa
Grade 3 nga mopasundayag sa imong Science Project. Imohang
