Before visiting all divisions, all team including Bsc 1st, 2nd,
3rd and MSc) went to educational room where Director
Briefly told us about physics about division Dr. Mukesh all
divisions in FSL and Explained their values base through
some cases and How different departments helped see
them to Solve cases,
Examples af Cases explained by Director of physics
department
Murder Misinterpreted by
INTRO
In this case a where a wife faked her death with the help
of her boyfriend who worked as a nursing staff in SMS
JAIPUR and blamed her husband for her death
EXPLANATION
In this case, this lady was mysteriously dissappered out of
nowhere and her room was filled with. Lots of blood, the
missing body and blood stains indicated to kidnapping and
murder of the lady and the main of suspect was her
husband , later when forensic team investigated
everything and they took some sample of blood from the
floor and got in tested in biological department
After the testing they concluded that the blood belonged
to a men but the victim was a women which made the IO
and forensic team suspicious
And when they completely investigated this case they got
to know some crucial clues or details that the lady who
was victim in the case was involved in a extra maritial
affair and was faking her death with her boyfriend
She made a plan escaping and blaming her husband for
her a murder and start a new life with her boyfriend
She took help of one on friend who worked as nursing
staff and asked him to bring a bottle of blood of B+ group
as per her words he brought blood for her but didn’t
clarified her that the blood was extracted from a man or a
women
After getting the blood she planned her own murder with
her boyfriend but they were caught red handed as the
blood spread on the crime scene belonged to a men but
the victim was a women and hence the husband was
declared innocent and culprit was charged laws for faking
burder and misleading the police and got there
punishments commenced by court and law
This case was basically solved because of Biological
Department
Some more cases were told by DR. Mukesh after gathering
some knowledge about some cases and ways to solve
them
And after this we visited some divions in lab such as –
PHYSICS DIVISIONS
Administrated by DR. Mukesh Sharma and Dr. Sanjay
Kumar
INTRO
The physics division of forensic science examines
physical evidence to identify, compare, and
determine the source of the evidence. This division
uses the physical attributes of evidence, such as
density, composition, and refractive index, to perform
these tasks.
The physics division of forensic science examines a
variety of physical evidence, including:
Tool marks and tools
Footwear and tire impressions
Glass fragments and specs
Paint flakes and scrapings
Fibers and fabric
Rope and thread
Ash, unburnt, and semiburnt materials
Household items
Tampered engine and chassis numbers of
automobiles
TOPICS ELABORATED BY ADMINISTRATOR
1. BUILDING BLOCKS
There are many reaons behind collapse of a building
which is unleased by physics department like
structural overloading, mainteinance futher, lack of
repairs, Intentional acts
2. ROLE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE
TOXICOLOGY
Administrated by Mrs . Archana Agrawal
INTRO
The toxicology division in forensic science analyzes
biological samples for the presence of toxins, such as
drugs and poisons, to help determine the cause of
death or illness:
Unnatural deaths
If a civil surgeon or police surgeon is unable to
determine the cause of death, the toxicology division
may examine preserved organs, such as the stomach,
liver, kidney, or brain tissue.
Poisoning cases
The toxicology division may examine suspected food,
containers, drinks, or exhumed remains from a crime
scene.
Wildlife deaths
The toxicology division may examine samples from
wildlife deaths, such as elephants, tigers, rhinos, or
deer.
Unknown drug ingestion
If a doctor is unable to diagnose the cause of
unconsciousness or unknown drug ingestion, the
toxicology division may analyze blood, urine, or gastric
wash samples.
Professional athletes
Forensic toxicology may be used to determine if a
stimulant in a sample enhanced an athlete's
performance.
Forensic toxicology is a multidisciplinary field that
combines toxicology with other disciplines, such as
pharmacology, analytical chemistry, and clinical
chemistry. Forensic toxicologists use scientific
equipment to assess samples, draw conclusions from
test results, and document and report their findings.
CHEMISTRY DIVISION
ADMINISTRATED BY MR. VINAY SHARMA
INTRO
The chemistry division in forensic science applies
chemistry to analyze and identify chemical substances
found in evidence from crime scenes:
Evidence types
Forensic chemists analyze a variety of evidence,
including bloodstains, hair samples, glass fragments,
paint chips, and more.
Analytical techniques
Forensic chemists use complex chemical analysis
procedures to identify elements and compounds.
Crime scene reconstruction
Forensic chemists use chemical analysis to reconstruct
crime scenes and determine the cause of an incident.
Biological evidence
Forensic chemists analyze biological evidence in cases
such as sexual assault, driving under the influence, and
alcohol-related deaths.
Controlled dangerous substances
Forensic chemists analyze controlled dangerous
substances and provide real-time drug supply trends.
Precious metals
Forensic chemists analyze precious metals like gold,
silver, and platinum.
Fire debris
Forensic chemists analyze evidence from fire scenes to
determine if ignitable liquids were present.
Forensic chemistry is a specialized sub-field of forensic
science that uses chemistry to support law
enforcement and the criminal justice system. Forensic
chemists use tools from many disciplines, including
biology, chemistry, genetics, and materials science.
