Student 2: In my opinion, the main disadvantage is that information often lacks verification,
leading to the spread of false news. Additionally, vulnerable groups, like children and the
elderly, may struggle to discern what's true or false due to inadequate fact-checking.
Teacher: Yes, we’re the ones who create fake news to help spread information. Otherwise,
there could be a major vulnerability. Can anyone give an example?
Student 3: In this flooding case, the vulnerability leads to posts that deceive people into
donating through social media platforms.
Student 1: As democratic citizens, this action is a violation of civil rights and against
democratic law. Citizens deserve to have transparent and accurate information.
Student 4: When it comes to donations, it's better to carefully verify first or donate directly
to government agencies instead of transferring to certain groups who exploit vulnerabilities
for personal gain.

was a current event.
T: Did you know that posting false news may be investigated by a large agency such as
Unesco as a global citizen who investigates word issues in promoting media freedom and
access to accurate information?
S2: Wow! I never thought that the flood problem would have such an impact on the global
level. What about the compensation?
Teacher: Yes, being a good digital citizen means being mindful when analyzing and sharing
information. Otherwise, fake news can greatly harm democracy. Citizens should aim to help
each other, using social media responsibly to spread accurate information quickly and
reduce problems.

Student 2: I think that's a reason—our mindset about wanting to help can be limited by a
lack of access, even as citizens of the country.
