applications of very kind in the fenestration industry.

Solar Control
The energy emitted from the sun is referred to as solar energy or solar
radiation. Solar control makes references to the ability of glass to control of
reduce the sun’s direct heat energy on a window. Solar control also refers to
the ability of a glass to reduce visible light and UV transmittance.

The following are the key values to measure solar control performance
of the glass:

• Solar Factor (SF);

• Visible light transmittance;
• UV transmission.

Performance data simulated on LBNL Windows 5.2, PPG Modeling Software & LBNL Optics 5­IGD version 17.
Note: Performance data of DGU with Low E inner Innerlite based of performance of PPG Sungate 500 –
Pyrolytic Clear Low­E which can be similar to Performance with other pyrolitic coated clear Low­E glass if
replaced.

"NFRC performance Data generated using LBL windows 5.2 Software with simulation modeling data and IGDB
submissions.
The EN 673 value was generated using WinDat WIS 3.0.1 software with simulation modeling data and IGDB
submissions.
Virtracool and Vistasol on Vitralite and Green substrates were simulated using LBL Optics 5.1 Software."
