Placeholder
8.1.1 General
Here you find the placeholders for readings and the placeholders for charac-
teristics automatically calculated from the readings, which can be inserted in
the report template.
► Inserting placeholders: Place the cursor at the desired position and
double-click in the area General on the placeholder.
► Deleting placeholders: Place the cursor at the desired position > Right

ability chart and FDD
► Inserting, deleting and editing placeholders: see page 23.
With the additional function Füge definierte Tabelle ein, you can add a table
populated with placeholders quickly and easily to the report template. You
then don't need to manually insert individual placeholders into a table.
There are two types of defined tables:
• With statistical values: includes placeholders with selected statistical val-
ues (e.g., mean value, standard deviation, etc.).
• With measurement readings: includes placeholders for the individual
block readings.
a Readings (specific): The individual readings are arranged in blocks by
columns or rows.
b Readings: The individual readings are arranged independent of
blocks by columns and rows.

With the image editor you can easily and quickly add markings, arrows and
texts to the images of your test parts. So you can, for example, mark the mea-
suring positions in the picture and add the picture to your inspection reports or
inspection plans.
If you use the FISCHER DataCenter IP-Multi software variant in conjunction with
the FISCHER DUALSCOPE® FMP100/150 handheld instrument, you can cre-
ate inspection plans that contain pictures of the measuring positions.
To import a picture
