MasterSeal M 800 ®

(formerly known as Conipur M 800)

Spray applied elastomeric polyurethane waterproofing membrane

DESCRIPTION Viscosity @ 23°C Part A >2400mPas

MasterSeal M 800 is a solvent free highly elastic, Part B >2500mPas
two component waterproofing membrane. Due to Ambient temperature range 5 °C to 40 °C
its fast cure speed it can only be applied by
Substrate temperature range 5 °C to 40 °C

RECOMMENDED USES Relative humidity max. 85 %

MasterSeal M 800 is intended for use in general Technical data cured material
waterproofing applications such as car park decks, (sprayed film except where stated)
podium decks and cut and cover tunneling.
Shore A 14 Days >70
Using the appropriate primer, MasterSeal M 800 hardness
can be applied to most substrates including

FEATURES AND BENEFITS Tear strength ASTM D624 > 16 N/mm
 Fast reacting spray application – Complex The performance data is typical and based upon
details both horizontal and vertical easy to controlled laboratory conditions. Actual
waterproof performance on the job site may vary from these
 Application to vertical surface without runs values based on actual site conditions.
– Installation to walls not problem APPLICATION
 Monolithic – No laps, welds or seams Surface Preparation
 Fully bonded – Moves with the structure The concrete substrates to be coated must be at
 High water vapour permeability – Low risk of least 14 days old, dry and load-bearing, free of
blistering in service laitance as well as substances which impair
 Crack bridging capability- Can cope with adhesion such as oil, grease, rubber skid marks,
cracks that occur after installation paint or other contaminants. Preparation of the
substrate by grit or shot blasting, high-pressure
 Solvent and monomeric isocyanate free – water jetting, grinding or scarifying is necessary for
Increased safety for applicators plain concrete or when the primer has become
 Unaffected by standing water or ground soiled or when the re-coating interval has been

 Thermoset – Does not soften at elevated bond strength of the concrete substrate must be at
temperatures encountered on a roof least 1.2 MPa (check with an approved pull-off
tester).
 Remains elastic at low temperatures-Tg
