About Us
Dong Son Geogrid Company Limited is a leading provider of geotechnical solutions for
Infrastructure, Transportation, and Irrigation. We offer a comprehensive range of
services, including design consultancy, material supply, technical support, and technology
transfer training. With a commitment to using advanced technology and environmentally
friendly materials, Dong Son has successfully contributed to numerous infrastructure
projects across Vietnam.
One of our standout solutions is Neoweb – a groundbreaking geotechnical technology
that enhances the stability of structures.
Neoweb Solutions
Neoweb system is a honeycomb cellular confinement system created by the 3D
interaction of soil, cell walls and geometry. Cellular confinement systems maintain soil
compaction, thereby increasing the structural strength of the infill and pavement layer.
Neoweb are manufactured from Novel Polymeric Alloy (Neoloy). Neoweb enable the
creation of stiffened, stabilised layers for multiple applications. Unlike other types of
geocells, Neoweb from Neoloy have the engineering characteristics required by
international geosynthetic design standards.
Neoweb stabilise materials over soft subgrades, reinforce gravel bases, reduce depths

of granular bearing layers, and mitigate the degradation of unbound surface layers.
Increased asphalt pavement performance and durability in all climates extends service
life by reducing repairs and thereby extending maintenance cycles, ultimately saving
maintenance budgets. Roads constructed with neoweb also enable more sustainable
and economic road construction with lower total life cycle impacts.
35 |
Main Application Areas
- Paved Roads – highways, city roads, parking lots
- Unpaved Roads – access/ service/ rural roads
- Railways – sub-ballast structure, slope protection
- Heavy-Duty Pavements – container yards, ports, terminals, airports, mining
roads and temporary working platforms
- Slope & Channel Protection – erosion control, slopes, channels, drainage
ditches, reservoirs,
landfills, and topsoil veneer stability
- Earth Retention – gravity and composite retaining walls, acoustic and aesthetic
barriers, and sea defense structures
Engineering
- Stabilize pavements over problematic soils such as sand, peat, and clays –
typically found on many construction projects worldwide
- Can extend pavement lifespan – by 2 to 5 times
- Reinforced pavement foundations – enables up to 40% reduction in asphalt and
layer thickness
- Durable design with dynamic modulus, creep resistance and tensile strength
properties, guarantee the same pavement performance for the entire project
design life
Economics
- Optimize design with costs
- Simple logistics and all-weather
installation
- Decreases in repairs, downtime, and
maintenance by up to 85%
Environmental
- Enables use of marginal but locally available soils and/or recycled materials for
structural infill.
- Reduces quarrying, haulage, fuel, pollution, carbon footprint
- Green and sustainable construction method – reduces environmental impacts
