Document 2: Squatting is not the answer.

1. The premises and conclusions the arguer uses:

+ The premise is portrayed clearly and sufficiently for the reader to easily absorb
the main idea the article wants to say
+ The conclusion is handled extremely well by the writer but there are some parts
that don't make sense and does not satisfy the readers and I think there needs to be
added information
2. Logical fallacies that the argument contain:
+ Logical fallacy appears in some places, creating a lot of holes for the argument
given in the article.
+ For example: In this paragraph: “At present laws on squatting are far too lenient.
They allow any vagrant to come in and take control of property that isn’t theirs.
Academics and leftists might think that’s a good idea but we as ordinary citizens
and homeowners realize that we must protect property.” The author did not even
mention in which country the laws are imposed on which legally enable homeless
people to come in and take full control of property that isn’t theirs as the presence
of owners is shown therefore causing lack of clarity in the content.
3. The arguer’s use of claims and evidence:
+ In my opinion, they use them very good, selective, clear and not misleading for
readers, helping the readers to understand the content better and more deeply.
4. Biases or assumptions in the argument
+ Very good and near perfect.
5. The types of argument used:
+ They are used very diversely and in a lot of different styles, making the article
lively and easy to understand and absorb the problem more quickly.
