Schools District of Lambunao West II
LUMANAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
2. Has your organization worked with LDS Charities in the past, if so, how and
when?
The School hasn’t worked with LDS Charities in the past.
5. Explain the need in detail. How will your request meet that need? (What
problem will this solve?)
The school used chalk and board, paper and pencil in teaching but sometimes
we used our personal laptops in delivering our lessons to enhance the interest
of learners in learning. But sad to say, the school doesn’t own multimedia
devices. We manually prepare our visual aids and other instructional
materials due to unavailability of the printer.
What we always do is to print instructional materials at home in our own
expense. With that, we don’t have time to rest and for our family.
Furthermore, it is more interesting for learners to view their lessons by using
power point presentation. The school has monthly activities and programs
that require the use of the monoblock chairs. We borrow a monoblock chairs
to office of barangay in order to facilitate the program. Every month Parent-
Teacher Association meeting is hold to address the concerns and problems of
the school with regards to the learners’ welfare.
7. Who are the beneficiaries? How many will there be and how will they be
benefited?
This project can benefit 100 learners from Kindergarten to Grade six (6)
classes with eight (7) Teaching Staff, one (1) Non-Teaching Staff and one (1)
School Head and 500 community members and alumni from Lumanay.
8. How will the contribution be protected, and how is it sustainable? How will this
project be maintained in the future by participants without outside resources?
For this project to be maintained, we will have a monthly budget for the
maintenance from the school MOOE and we will see to it that the rooms are
secured for the safety of the gadgets and devices with the commitment of the
teachers, parents and the local government unit to maintain the equipment so
that it will not only be useful for now but for the future generations as well.
This project is very helpful to the teachers and learners in the community.
11. Name and contact information for the signatory on propose DOD or
MOA .Where can we send a draft of the DOD for their approval?
