Syllabus Math II 2023-2024
Syllabus Math II 2023-2024
Learning objectives:
• Interpret and process information, both quantitative and qualitative.
• To recognize, analyze and formulate first degree equations to solve simulated problems.
• Identify patterns and regularities, as well as pose and solve problems applied to daily life.
• Solve systems of equations using various methods and identify the most efficient method.
Identify the mathematical property used al each step in the solution process as a means of
justifying a step.
Teaching strategy.
Mathematics are an integral part of secondary school students. The goal is not to become a
mathematician, but to make you feel comfortable as possible in an environment in which quantitative
analysis and computers are increasingly used. The more familiar you are with different types of
mathematical tools, the better critical user you can be and thus make better decisions. This course
gives you the opportunity to play an active role in your own knowledge building learning. During this
year, you will have the opportunity to study the theoretical bases to apply them in solving real life
situations. The following diagram shows you what the class will be like each week:

All class activities, quizzes, tests and assignments will help you achieve the general learning
objectives of the course.
Learning model.
This course has been designed under a presential model. This model is based on active learning
in which you will assume an active role and committed to your own learning.
You can contact me through Algebraix in case there is something out of the ordinary from our weekly
classes, for specific doubts or to make an appointment for extra help.
In case you have doubts or require specific support on any topic or activity, you can ask me for
individual help.
MATHEMATICS II
EVALUATION
All assignments will be delivered on the indicated date, otherwise they will be received later or the
next day with a maximum grade of 7. Delivery out of time (two days) of the stablished date the
rating will be 0.
VERY IMPORTANT.
• Take care of the facilities provided by the school for your benefit.
• Class work and projects must be turned in on time, clear, orderly and completed.
• Remember to write down the class notes in a clean and orderly way in your notebook
assigned for the subject, this will be reviewed each block, this will be evaluated within
glossary heading.
• Remember that all your work must include its procedure, which must be done in pencil and
presented neatly, as this will influence your grade for the activity. Repeated jobs will be
canceled.
• Respect the participation time of your classmates, do not interrupt the person who is speaking
if they ask to speak first, do not use the chat if the teacher does not ask for it or make
annotations on the screen, if you do some of these activities, you rating will be affected in the
HAV’s category.
• Behavior in the classroom will be graded at the end of each week in HAV's.
● In each activity to be carried out, the rubric with which the activity will be evaluated will be
specified. The activities will be evaluated for content, cleanliness, order and spelling, according to
their specifications.
MATHEMATICS II
CHARACTER FORMATION.
The virtues that we will reinforce and practice during the school year are the following:
