Specific Instructions regarding COVID-19
1. Candidates having COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to appear in the Computer Based Test.
2. Candidates must cover their nose and mouth with facemask, failing they will not be allowed to enter in the examination hall.
3. Candidate must follow the guidelines issued by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India time to time for COVID-19.
General Instructions
Please note that it is MANDATORY TO BRING PRINTED COPY of the downloaded Admit Card with two recent passport size colored photograph.
Please read the instructions mentioned in the ADMIT CARD carefully and bring only REQUIRED ADDITIONAL ITEMS as mentioned in the Instructions.
1. This Admit Card is subject to the conditions that if ineligibility is detected at any stage, the candidature will be cancelled.
2. PGIMER, Chandigarh reserves the right to verify the identity and genuineness of each candidate by taking photograph of the candidate or by other means.
3. In order to get entrance into examination venue/lab candidates must bring:
a. Printed ADMIT CARD of Nursing Officer Recruitment Examination and two recent passport size colored Photographs.
b. Photo ID card(In Original) such as: Aadhaar Card/ e-Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/ Driving License/Elector's Photo ID Card (EPIC)/ Passport
containing photograph of candidate. No photocopies will be accepted. Candidate should note that he/she should bring the same Identity
proof with ID No. as mentioned in the Admit Card.
4. Candidates must bring his/her two recent passport size colored Photographs and affix two of these photographs on the desired location on the Admit
Card and Attendance sheet in the Test Centre andS put their signature on the Admit Cards (Candidate's copy and Invigilator) copy in presence of the
invigilator at the time of exam. He / She has to handover the Invigilator copy to the Invigilator and keep the Candidate's copy by themselves. Any variation in
the signatures, wherever applicable is liable for the cancellation of candidature.
5. The Admit Card must be signed by the invigilator and Candidate Copy will retained by the candidate and produced at the time of document verification.
6. All the Candidates appearing for the computer based test are instructed “NOT TO BRING” water bottle, car key (Remote),chain, any pager/pen/ wrist watch/
ring/ wallets/ ladies purse/large buttons on dress/ ornaments (earrings, rings etc.) or any other electronic device, the candidates with these articles will not be
permitted to enter in the examination hall. The examination centers are not responsible for the safe custody of the belongings of the candidates and they
have to make their own arrangement for their safe custody outside the Examination Centre. However, the candidates are required to bring their photo identity
proof.
7. Nursing Officer Recruitment Examination will commence at 02:00 P.M. sharp. Entry of Candidates will be given as per Time Slot given on Admit Card to
maintain Social Distancing at the Centre. The entry of the Main Gate will be closed at 01:30 P.M. You need to undergo security process at the Test Center and
hence to report early.
8. Mapping of 'Candidate Roll Number and the Lab Number' will NOT be displayed outside the exam venue, but the same will be provided to the candidates
individually at the time of entry of the candidate to the exam venue and post their Admit Card and ID verification.
9. Rough sheets and pens will be provided for calculation which must be returned after the test. Candidate should clearly write his / her name and roll number
on each rough sheet.
10. The recruitment examination will consist of 100 multiple choice questions each carrying 01 (one) mark. There will be negative marking to the extent of 0.25
marks for every wrong answer. Questions "Answered and Marked for Review" will be considered for evaluation.
11. Candidates are advised to locate their test center and its accessibility at least a day before the test so that they can reach the center on time on the day of the
exam.
12. Once the exam starts, candidates will not be allowed to leave the test center for any reason until the test is over.
13. Request for change of test center will NOT be entertained.
14. Failure to comply with these instructions will entail expulsion / cancellation of candidature or appropriate legal action.
15. Copying or noting down questions is strictly prohibited. Candidates will be under CCTV coverage throughout the exam procedure.
16. At the examination hall you are advised to read the Instructions carefully in your computer screen before start answering.
17. Candidates should note that they are being allowed to appear in the online computer based examinations without having decided their eligibility for the post
as their online applications have not been scrutinized so far. The candidates who will be found eligible after scrutiny of their online applications w.r.t.
recruitment rules of the concerned post will only be considered for further recruitment process.
