Indra IVF Fertility Centre,2nd floor, City plaza, Prem Nagar, Jammu.

Attendees:
Students of MSc nursing 1st year from Bee Enn College of Nursing ,Chak Bhalwal ,Jammu.

Purpose of the visit:


The primary purpose of the visit was to assess the facilities and services available at Indra
IVF Centre Jammu, and knowing about infertility management.

Event highlights:
The event was held by Bee Enn college of nursing Jammu, in collaboration with Indra IVF
Centre Jammu. The event was held on 6 consecutive days ( from 09th September to 14th
September 2024) ,whereby students were divided into 6 groups, each group containing 5
members.
My visit was scheduled on 11-09-2024 from 09:00 am -02:00pm.
We reached the centre by 09:00am . The receptionist oriented us with the physical
infrastructure and different facilities available at Indra IVF Centre, Jammu.
After having a brief orientation about the centre, we were posted in scan room ,where by Dr.
Isha Sunil , Gynaecologist and IVF specialist ,acknowledged us with transvaginal and
abdominal scan . Dr. Manisha Bhagat, Gynaecologist and Infertility specialist shared her
knowledge regarding infertility ,its causes ,diagnosis and infertility management.
In second session, we were posted in Injection room ,whereby their highly dedicated staff
gave a brief session regarding drugs used in patients undergoing IVF.
Then we visited the wards and operation theatre of Indra IVF Centre , where we got to know
about different procedures done in the centre including Laparoscopy , Hysteroscopy, Egg -
retrieval technique etc.
