- TheICFAI University, Dehradun [CFAT TUD/Reg/11" Convocation/2024 | 15° 18 October 2024 11" Convocation : 08 November 2024 it Convocation : 08 November 2024 Instructions to Students 1. The Convocation-2024 will be held on 08 November 2024 at 11.00 am Prof. (Dr.) Uday B Desai, Chancellor, The ICFAI University Dehradun, will award the Medals & Degree to the Medal Holders, 2 Dress, All Graduands are required to be in proper uniform with Angvastram, 3. Angvastram. Angvastram will be collected by each student from their respective school before 9.45 am on 08" November 2024, 4 Due to scarcity of seating arrangements in Auditorium, limited seats are available for Grandaunds other than Medal Holders, entry first come first serve basis. 5. Parents. Only one parent of Medal holders are allowed, 6. Seating arrangements for the balance students are catered with Live Streaming in K-107 & K-108, 7 Grandaunds to be seated in the Auditorium by 10.00 am. The main entrance of the University would close at 9.30 am. 8 Students other than those involved with the Convocation are not permitted in the University premises on 08" November 2024 9. Mobile to be switched off. All Graduands will maintain complete decorum 10.No cross talks, photography, movements, loitering inside the Convocation Hall are allowed during the ceremony. 11. During the event the audience will keep sitting in their seats and will not move out of their seats. 12, During the function, Graduands shall move out of their seats only when their name is called for receiving the award. On being called for receiving the certificate, the awardee Students should alight the stage and walk to the dais from one end in a dignified and orderly fashion in sequence of their names called to receive his/her Medallcertfieate at the hands of the Hon*ble Chancellor and come back to his/her allocated allotted seat from the other end of the dais in an orderly sequential fashion. They should not huddlejostle on the stage. 13. The following items are prohibited during the ceremony: camera, whistles, bottled water oF ary bottled liquids, balloons, wrapped gifts, weapons, knife, sharp objects, food, alcohol etc, 14. Bring one photo ID proof (Passport, Voter I-card, Aadhaar card, Driving License, PAN card etc.) at the venue and for allowing entry into the convocation hall, 15. Before entering the convocation venue, the Graduands must register their name at Admin Office of their respective school and collect their Angvastram and pass. 16. Graduands must sit only at the allotted seat in the convocation hall, 17, Parents of Graduands shall occupy their seats only in prescribed area, 18. The clapping of hands is the only form of acknowledgement recommended. 19. Whistling, shouting, making noise, cheering and other forms of exclamations are prohibited. The audience present in the Ceremony Hall, shall stand up at the following occasions: (®) _Atthe time when the Academic Procession enters the hall and till they take their seats, (®) —Atthe time of National Anthem, (©) Atthe time when the academic procession departs and leaves the hall, @ Only Graduands - at the time administering of the “Oath”, 21, Graduanads shall not leave the hall before the completion of the ceremony. They should move from their seats only after the as per direction from MC. 22. Children are not allowed. 23. Personal photography and selfies are prohibited. 24. ‘No person shall be allowed to attend the Convocation as a representative of the Graduands. 25, The official photographer shall carry out photography and videography during the ceremony, Photographs of Graduands can be ordered from these professional photographers afterwards. Award of Degree/Ce: 26. ificate after Departure of the Academie Procession After departure of the Academic Procession from dais (Auditorium), the following will be carried out: @ Law School students will remain in the Auditorium & student/parents at K-107/K-108 will join them for award of degrees, (®) __IBS/ITS/IEdS students to move from Auditorium to K-107/K-108 and will move back to Auditorium by 1.15 pm for Award of Degrees. (©) Schedule & timing for award of degrees will be as under: (i) ICFAI Law School - 12.10 to 1.15 pm (ii) ICFAI Business School - 1.20 to 1.45 pm (i) ICFAI Tech School - 1.50 to 2.15 pm (ii) ICFAT Education School - 2.20 to 2.45 pm 27. — Graduands shall make travel and stay arrangement on their own. 28. Lunch. Lunch will be served to all as under. Respective faculty in-charge will coordinate. (@) __IBAS/ITS/IBS/Admin staff -K Block Lawn (Canteen in case of rain) (6) Law School ~ G Block Lawn (G Block corridor in, case of rain). Registrar ce. Registrar Alll concerned.
