TOPIC1: LAST HOLIDAY

A: Hi! Nice to meet you! B: Yeah, nice to meet you too!


A: How have you been? B: Very well. How about you?
A: I am good, How’s your family? B: They are fine.
A: We had our national holiday on 30th of April . Could you tell me about your last
holiday?
B: Sure, It was an incredible holiday. My friend and I had so much time relaxing and
gathering together. How about yours? (Who did you go with?)
A: Well, I traveled and enjoyed a great time with my friends. So tell me, where did you
go?
B: We have visited Da Lat city. which is one of the most famous popular tourist
destinations in Viet Nam. We went there by motorbike because we want to see
everything on the road. I was really attracted by the beautiful scenery and cool, fresh
climate of this wonderland. How about you?
A: We visited Phu Yen, which is one of the most famous tourist hotspots in VietNam
B: Wow! That sounds great! How was the scenery? Is it beautiful?
A: Yes, with its location, the scenery in Phu Yen is vast and majestic but still has a
simple rustic beauty famous tourist attractions such as Nghinh Phong tower, Da Dia
Reef, Ba tower, etc... And I tried a lot of local food, I think the seafood in there so
amazing. The people in there so friendly.
what about you? Are there any amazing places in Da lat?

B: The scenery of the city is extremely breath-taking and bustling. So, I enjoyed doing a
lot of activities in Da lat. For example, I ate a lot of delicious foods such as strawberries
of Da lat, Da Lat grilled spring rolls, banh mi shumai, I love sightseeing at night markets.
In addition, the local people of the city are very friendly and enthusiastic with visitors. So
to this day, I still feel very happy when visting Da Lat. I hope to be back in Dalat one day
soon.c

What were your feelings after the trip?

A: Wow! That was so awesome. I hope we will have more chances to travel on our
holiday after we graduate!
B: Yes, me too! It's really nice to have a conversation with you, but there are people

TOPIC3 : FAVORITE GADGET

A: On May 20, the new mobile world launched discount technology. What is your
favorite gadget?
B: My favorite gadget is my smartphone. What about you?
A: For me, my laptop is one of the most useful tools I have. When did you buy it?
B: I bought it in 2019. I have owned this smartphone for over 3 years. How about you?
A: I bought it a year ago when my old one had a problem.
B: How much is your laptop?
A: I bought it with is 20 million. And you?
B: My phone costs 7 million VND
A: Why do you like it?
(Functions: study – online leqarning, search for materials..; communication;
entertainment)
B: Because my smartphone very helpful in studies. I can mange my times, read book or
search information on this. And your laptop is helpful in your learn??
A: With a laptop I can take notes in class, type up assignments,
share notes, and work with groups on projects. Sometimes, I use it
to play game in my free time. And do you think the smartphone is
important with you ?
B: Yes, of course. For me, this smartphone is very convenient, essential and vital to me.
So, in other words, this smartphone can be my best friend. How is it for you?
A: The laptop is very important to me because I use it to stay in touch with friends and
family. So I consider this laptop as my best friend. How often do you use your
smartphone?
B: Always, I can’t go out without it with me, and you ?
A: Yeah…. Most of the time I only use it in the evening or when I need it.
B: It's really nice to have a conversation with you, but there are people waiting for me so

TOPIC2 : A FAMOUS PERSON

A: How have you been? B: Very well. How about you?
A: I am good, How’s your family? B: They are fine.
A: There has just been a music concert at Sky tour. Did you join that event?
B: I must admit that the music concert was so exciting and eventful! That was so
incredible (tuyệt diệu). There are many famous singers and dancers that had come to
perform here! Are there any famous?
A: The famous person who I am interested in is Sơn tùng MTP. He is the best pop singer
in Viet Nam .He is now about 24 years old, a good-looking man and has the largest
number of fans in Vietnam. What about you?
B: Well, The celebrity whom I would like to meet in person is definitely David Beckham.
David was a professional English footballer who played for the world’s most renowned
football clubs such as Manchester United and Real Madrid.

A: That sounds amazing. Why do you admire David Beckham?


B: David Beckham is my biggest idol not only because of his legendary football skills but
also because he is very modest and kind as a person. What about you? Tell me the reason
why you admire Son Tung singer.

A: Because he is a great singer with a beautiful voice. Some years ago, I caught a glimpse
of him on TV and I have become his loyal fan since then. I usually listen to his songs to
let off steam after long working hours
B: So. What is his personality? For me, David Beckham was seen offering a hand to a
photographer who fell while trying to photograph him. Also, according to his wife, David
Beckham is a devoted husband and a father who always puts his family first.

A: His personality is funny, supportive…. He has been doing a lot of charity activities
silently to help the poor.
