Cart, refer to AMM Task 29-10-00-863-001:
- flushing of the RH MLG door actuator free fall hydraulic lines will now
start
- adjust the ground hydraulic cart to achieve a supply pressure of 160 BAR
(2321 PSI)
14 In the cockpit, move the L/G control lever to the DOWN position.
Refer to, AMM Task 32-33-13-400-001, Fig. A-UCBAA Sheet 01 and Fig. A-
UCBAA Sheet 02, View C and D.
Install:
3 Refer to Fig. A-UCBAA Sheet 01 and Fig. A-UCBAA Sheet 02, View C and
View D.
use
4 Move the LH MLG door opening handle to the OPEN position, refer to AMM
Task 32-12-00-010-001.
5 Remove the Flight Ground Simulation Plates from the MLG door open
proximity switches 32GA, 33GA, 34GA and 35GA.
(e) Confirm Correct Reconnection of the MLG Free Fall Vent Valve:
NOTE: The L/G freefall handle contacts the parking brake switch in
the ON position.
- The MLG vent valve lever operates and moves to the OPEN position.
- The MLG vent valve lever operates and moves to the CLOSED position.
5 Check that the rigging holes align on the Free Fall System equipment:

4.2 DESCRIPTION:
4.2.1 ACCESS:
WARNING: Ensure to strictly adhere to all safety precautions mentioned in below referenced
AMM tasks.
- Open the Main Landing Gear Doors for Access as per AMM Task 32-12-00-010-001-A (Ref. 5)
WARNING: Make sure that a SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK (460005835) is installed on the
applicable MLG door actuating cylinder.
- Close the Main Landing Gear Doors after Access as per AMM Task 32-12-00-410-001-A (Ref. 6)
4.2.2 PROCEDURE:
WARNING: Ensure to strictly adhere to all safety precautions mentioned in below referenced
AMM tasks.
- Perform LH and RH MLG door actuator PN 114122014 (Post-ref. 1) greasing as per AMM Task 12-
22-32-640-001-A (Ref. 7)
NOTE: Ensure greasing of both eye end bearings is accomplished (Refer to Appendix B for grease
nipples location).
During maintenance, in case an abnormal bearing play is suspected; please refer to following guidance
for continued operation of the MLG door actuator:
Play above 0.7 mm and below 1 mm replace actuator within 500 FC.
NOTE: Play measurement procedure for “on-wing” and “off wing” in available in Airbus ISI Ref.
32.31.00076.

5. FURTHER INFORMATION:
As mitigation, Airbus is currently working at defining an alternate bearing standard to address premature
MLG door actuator eye end bearing play. Availability of this mitigation is planned by end of first quarter
2015.
A specific MPD task applicable to MLG door actuator PN 114122014 will be introduced in MPD to
reduce the greasing interval.
