NATURE OF PROJECT
A museum is a building or institution that cares for and displays a collection of
artifacts and other objects of artistic, cultural, historical, or scientific
importance.

LOCATION OF SITE

The site is located in Delhi near Purana Qila

BRIEF OUTLINE

• BACKGROUND
• Delhi, the capital of India has a strong historical background. It was
ruled by some of the most powerful emperors in Indian history. The
history of the city is as old as the epic Mahabharata. The town was
known as Indraprastha, where Pandavas used to live.

• DEFINITION OF PROJECT
• A museum is a permanent institution in the service of society and its
development, open to the public, which acquires, conserves, researches,
communicates and exhibits the tangible and intangible heritage of
humanity and its environment for the purposes of education, study and
enjoyment.

• REQUIREMENTS AND FACILITIES


• Exhibition Spaces, Auditorium Halls, Multipurpose Halls,
Recreational Spaces, Gallery, Administrative Spaces, Parking
Spaces, Landscaped Areas.

PURPOSE
The purpose of designing a museum is to study about the circulation pattern of
the museum, role of lighting in museum, backgrounds, and arrangements of
artifacts or other paintings.

Understanding the circulation cause service plays a vital role in the planning of
a museum and we can develop our museum in a historical context with a pinch
of modernization

A community center, in simple terms, is a place in a neighborhood or town
where people from the community can come together for various activities,
services, and events. It's like a gathering spot for the people who live nearby.

• BACKGROUND

• A Community Centre will be the place which would act as the
communal hub fulfilling all the needs and the requirements of the

education, art, daily requirement, etc.

Shopping, Office, Film Theatre, Banquet Hall, Health Clinic, Re-
creational area, Multipurpose Hall, Bank, Atm, Gym, Skill development
Centre, Library, Art Gallery, Etc.

PURPOSE

For many centuries man built settlement that have always cratered carefully to
both the built and open space through the design of Community center my
intension is to explore the complexity of planning space and at the same time
getting to design finer details of each space

A convention center is a large building that is designed to hold a convention,
where individuals and groups gather to promote and share common interests.
Convention centers typically offer sufficient floor area to accommodate several
thousand attendees

BRIEF OUTLINE

• BACKGROUND
• The original convention centers or halls were in castles and palaces.
Originally a hall in a castle would be designed to allow a large group
of lords, knights and government officials to attend important
meetings with the king. A more ancient tradition would have the
king or lord decide disputes among his people.

• DEFINITION OF PROJECT
• A convention center is a building or group of buildings designed, in
most cases, for the purpose of conducting meetings, rallies, or seminars.
It may also be adapted for specific events, such as appearances by well-
known speakers or musicians. In some cases, meetings or other events
take place in centers or buildings not specifically designed for
conventions, but large enough to accommodate attendees.

• REQUIREMENTS AND FACILITIES


• Plenary Hall (Divisible), Convention Hall, Rooms, Pre-Function,
Kitchen, Public space.

PURPOSE
The purpose behind choosing this topic as one of the Thesis Project is
because this project will generate economy and promote Tourism in Jaipur.
We will develop area related to public Interest and get to know about the
circulatory pattern.
