The Asian Federation for Pharmaceutical Sciences (AFPS) is the premier pharmaceutical

conference in the Asia-Pacific region, aiming to foster scientific and technological


collaboration in the field of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, both regionally and
globally.

Established in 2007 in Makati, the Philippines, AFPS has since organized conferences in
various countries, attracting top scientists and experts from leading institutions
worldwide.

After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AFPS is making a comeback in 2023,
with Hanoi, Vietnam, as the chosen host. The event, organized in partnership with Hanoi
University of Pharmacy and Ho Chi Minh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, will
feature plenary sessions and workshops on advanced therapies, health technology
assessment, and clinical pharmacy practice teaching methods.

Under the theme "Collaborating for Breakthroughs in Pharmaceutical Science," AFPS


2023 promises to be a vital platform for scientific research, technological updates, and
knowledge exchange among leading experts and professionals from various countries and
institutions.

This conference expects over 500 in-person and around 500 online delegates, including
top scientists, healthcare professionals, and industry representatives, creating memorable
experiences at AFPS 2023 in Hanoi.

The Nagai Foundation Tokyo Ảnh của ông Tsumeji Nagai
was founded on October 25, 1986 in
commemoration of Prof. Tsuneji Nagai
receiving the 1986 Hoest-Madsen Medal from
FIP (International Pharmaceutical
Federation) as the first for Japanese. The
Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture,
Sports, Science and Technology officially
approved the Foundation as a government-
licensed international one on January 28,
1994 and additionally as a specified non-
profit organization for the benefit of the
public on November 29, 1996 for the purpose
of promoting international exchange in
pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.
