really into swimming. I love swimming./ I go swimming every day
because it helps me to keep fit.

2. From my point of view, I will say yes, I think swimming is a popular
sport (most of all the people like swimming). It is suitable for people
of all ages (young and old people) and genders.

3. There are so many advantages/benefits/good things that we can get
from swimming/swimming brings us. It is the best type of exercise for
our health because it keeps us healthy and helps us stay in good

websites and online forums, 3.by word of mouth. Which way do you think is
the best choice?

A travel agency is planning to advertise their tourist destinations and

services.
There are three choices: on television, through websites and online
forum, or by word of mouth.
- I think I will choose /chu:z/ through websites and online forum because
it’s suitable/the most suitable/effective. The first reason I choose it is
websites and online forums are very popular now and millions of people can
access. Furthermore, they are also cheap and effective. (Online advertising
gives us much more control. It can tell us who to target, based on their
profiles and search history.)
C1: (I don’t choose /chu:z/ on television or by word of mouth because I
don’t like it. ( Advertising on TV is very expensive these days. With by word
of mouth, they have little control over when and how it occurs.)
C2: Advertising on TV can be very popular, but I don’t choose /chu:z/ on
television because it is so expensive these days.

- By word of mouth is obviously not suitable if you want more and more
people know about your company/agency.
To sum up, I believe that through websites and online forums is the best
idea/choice in this situation.

are three choices through the internet, on televisions, in newspapers.
I think I will choose through the internet because it’s the most suitable.
(Online advertising gives us much more control. It can tell us who to target,
based on their profiles and search history)
I don’t choose on television or in newspapers because I don’t like it.
(Advertising on TV is very expensive these days. You must pay for air time.
People cannot understand newspaper advertisements.)
To sum up, I believe that through the internet is the best idea/choice in
this situation.

C2: From my point of view, this company should introduce their new
products through the internet because this tool is free and accessible to
everyone. Furthermore, the number of internet users is on the rise these days.

It is not a good idea to advertise on television because the number of

television audience is quite disappointing and even cause stress and
annoyance to viewers. Newspaper is not a good choice because it does not
attract a huge number of readers and customers.

To sum up, I believe that through the internet is the best idea in this situation.

lamp, a pen. Which thing would be the best choice?
My friend has just started her first job, working for a travel magazine. I
want to give her a present. There are three choices: a suitcase, a lamp, or
a pen.
I think I will choose a suitcase because it is the most suitable. ( It can be
packed with a great deal of items when she travels. )
I don’t choose a lamp or a pen because I don’t like it.( The company will
provide her all of them).
- A lamp is not useful for her with her job because she needs to travel a
lot, so I don’t choose it. I don’t choose a pen because she doesn’t use it
for her job.
To sum up, I believe that a suitcase is the best idea in this situation.

are thinking of the most important things they should take along with: a

There are three choices: a camera and a radio, a tent and some food, an
umbrella and warm clothes.

I think I will choose a tent and some food because it is most suitable/ the
most important.(They should pack a tent because there are no hotels near
the camping area. They can't cook because of their condition)

- I don’t choose a camera and a radio …………..

_ I don’t choose an umbrella and warm clothes because I don’t like it. (It
is far too hot to wear warm clothing. They can take pictures by using their
phones.)
To sum up, I believe that a tent and some food is the best idea in this
situation.

Situation: You are going to work for a big company and you want to
improve some skills before starting your work. What kind of skill will you
choose to learn first? computer skills, team work skills, or time management
skills?

I am going to work for a big company and I want to improve some skills
before starting to my work. There are three choices: computer skills,
team work skills, or time management skills.

I think I will choose computer skills because it is suitable. (I will be able

to work on more difficult projects or work if I know some computer skills.

I don’t choose team work skills because I have learned about it at

university and I am already good at working with other people.

Time management skills are also important to learn but I think I have
these skills already.

(I think I am good enough in those skills. I believe I can effectively plan my

time in order to work successfully.)

To sum up, I believe that computer skills is the best choice for me.

The first point is better personal skills development. ( They have to do
anything by themselves without support. They may become more

The second point is lots of savings. (When you live alone, depending on your
personal needs and objectives, you may actually manage to spend less)
The third/last point is more privacy and freedom. (When you live alone,
you get peace and quiet, at least within the confines of your apartment or
house.)

causes some problems.

The first point is wasting money. (A larger wedding is usually more expensive.
they may need to spend more money on a DJ or band, or a larger meal.)

The second point is spending a lot of time planning. (A large wedding need more
time to arrange before the event.)

The third point is causing stress. (They can feel tired and boring because they
have to create a big meal, organize parties with large guests, and so on)

Well, I would like to talk about my topic. It is about social networking sites.
Social networking sites have some negative effects on individuals/people/us.
The first point is about time management.( The young generation/people as they
focus on entertainment rather than their career and studying, they will have
problems with time management. Some of them spend more than 5 hours a day
online playing games for nothing.)
- The second point is about mental health. (It’s easy for posts to go viral on social
media and get cruel comments or judgment which contains hate speech, bullying
or racism). C2: Young people are easy to get hurt by online comments, posts and
photos that will have bad effect on their mind for a long time.
The third point is the spread of untrue information. ( We’ll be able to make false
