Recommended materials and tools:

1. Yarn Art Jeans - 1,5 or 2 balls of grey color (49), 1 ball

of white color (66), 1 ball of pink color (74).
2. Black and pink cotton thread. You can use mouline
thread instead (split in a half).
3. A cut of cotton or fleece fabric size 25х25 cm.
4. Sewing eyes d.10mm (for comforter) and d.6-7 mm
(for teething toy).
5. Music toy mechanism or other details to make rattle
teething toy. You can make just teething toy.
6. Wooden ring, outer part d. 5,5-6 cm.
7. Toy stuffing.
8. Size 2, 0 mm crochet hook, long needle, wide-eyed
needle, scissors.
9. Sewing thread matching color.

From the 2nd ch from hook crochet:

*1 sc, now crochet ch1, skip 1 stitch of chain and crochet

1sc into the 2nd stitch*

Crochet to the end of round the same way. Now start all
rounds with ch2 and turn the item. Works in rows. Try to
pull working yarn identically to get an even item.

Crochet 53 rounds. Final size of the item 18х20 cm.

Now crochet sc around the item. Make 3sc in 1

stitch in corners.

Adjust the item, all sides and
edges should be even.
Cover the item with gauze. Steam
iron from both sides (small
temperature).

To avoid shrinkage: wash, dry

and iron the fabric before to
make pattern. Do not iron
fleece fabric.

Put wrong side of body and

wrong side of fabric together.
Circle outlines, leaving 1 cm
from each side.

Pay attention: do not circle

white legs, circle grey part only.

Overedge and sew fabric and

body (use blanket stitch or
ladder stitch).

Do not leave 1 cm from each

side if you use fleece fabric.
Use blanket stitch for sewing.

*6 sc, ch1, turn*

Crochet 9 or 10 rounds the same way.

Start each round with ch1.
Crochet sc around all the detail.
Make 3 sc in 1 stitch in corners.
Cut yarn tail, fasten off and hide.
“Fanfold” the item and wrap yarn in the middle, make a
knot and sew it to the head, use remained yarn tail.
Comforter is finished!

Pin head to the body and sew around. Use sewing
thread matching color.

Sew a bow to decorate head.

Use thinner yarn to make a bow for teething toy.
